- Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising posted on 10/13/2009
- There's a stigma in the gaming industry that a realistic simulation game has to be boring. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is here to challenge that notion. What it lacks in high intensity run and gun Call of Duty style gameplay, it makes up for in its tense, cinematic and fun experiences. If you've got the patience to approach the game's 11 missions as the developers intended - you'll find much to like here, but if you'd rather shoot first and ask questions later, you're in for one frustrating bug filled experience.

- Brutal Legend posted on 10/13/2009
- While Tim Schafer's games have earned him a ton of cred with critics and diehard fans, it hasn't always translated into mainstream commerical success (seriously, why didn't you guys buy Psychonauts? It was freaking awesome and should have sold a bajillion copies!). But we're pretty sure Brutal Legend will get him the financial success, along with the usual critical praise, that he richly deserves because even though it suffers from a lackluster presentation and some quirky bugs, it's still a vintage Schafer game: unique, hilarious and a whole lot of fun to play.

- Forza Motorsport 3 posted on 10/9/2009
- Forza 3 inspired some mixed feelings in our reviewer Mitchell who thought that the game's slick modes and pretty graphics had a lot to offer but it somehow failed to keep him glued to the driver's seat. Read on to find out why, despite the game's obvious quality, he kept putting the controller down.

- Bass Pro Shops: The Strike posted on 10/8/2009
- Resident angler Patrick Shaw loves the sport of fishing and he may have just found a virtual simulation that's good enough to keep him off the lakes for good. Backed by the Bass Pro Shops name, The Strike is a well executed fishing title that should please amateur anglers and professional fisherman alike.

- Grinding the Left Analog Stick like a madwoman and spamming the A Button, I narrowly escaped the clutches of the infamous reverse bear trap that was on the verge of turning my head into a medley of gore.

- NBA Live 10 posted on 10/6/2009
- EA's NBA Live is back again this year trying to dig itself out of a hole it has been mired in since the birth of the Dreamcast ten years ago. For those keeping score at home, Live has been trying to gain our attention with stiff player animations, lousy AI and poor play mechanics (seriously? I need two shoot buttons?) for a decade.

- NBA 2K10 continues its legacy of dominance! 2K Sports delivers one of the finest basketball experiences since the glory days of the Dreamcast.

- NHL 2K10 posted on 10/5/2009
- NHL 2K10 faces stiff competition from EA's NHL 10. Considering the continual amount of improvements that are added every year to its competitor, the 2K series hasn't been given the attention it deserves. Compared side-to-side, 2K10 is not as visually impressive, has less gameplay options available for both offline and online play, and won't be able to hold your attention for as long as NHL 10. It is however, a lot of fun, and in the end that counts for quite a bit.
