i always felt MK had a ludicrous closing AI... i can remember playing MK 1 & 2 as a kid and getting frustrated by the 4th rung in the ladder, die, continue and then breeze through the next kombatant... only to die, continue and then breeze through until shang tsung and shao khan respectively... but then they were royal pains too!
although i've always had the opposite feeling for tekken, as much as i love it, the final boss usually seems like a fair fight with the exception of jinpachi, who owned me
