Wii - Wii

Very fun

I've had my wii for about 6 months now, and I think I can give a decent review of it. We'll start with user friendly the wii is, then graphics, control, and features. Here we go. User Friendly: The wii is simple to set up, comes with everything you need to get started (including a free game) and the manuals explain everything well. You shouldn't have a problem getting your wii set up. Score:4.5 Graphics: This is the one part of the wii console that doesn't particularly shine. Compared to the other consoles, the wii falls short in graphics. That's not to say it isn't capable of good graphics either. In short, if you want the best graphics, you probably shouldn't get a wii. score: 3.5 Control: The main attraction of the wii, it's controller. Shaped similiar to a t.v. remote, and able to be expanded with other accesories, the wii controller is very versatile. The wii-remote has motion sensors built in, and can work as a pointing device. The nunchuck accesorie (used for many games) also has built in motion sensing. The possibilities for new game ideas are much greater with the wii-remote + nuchuck than a traditional controller. score: 5 Features: Although the wii lacks dvd play-back, it does have built-in wifi. The wii is capable of downloading new content through the internet as well messaging. A custom avatar software is included in the wii. The wii doesn't have the most features, but it isn't really lacking. score: 4.25 Overall, a great system. I'm very pleased. Final score: 4.5

Animal Crossing - GameCube

Suprisingly fun

Animal Crossing looks pretty lame & unispired. But once you start playing it, there's a lot under the hood. Everything from working and helping neighbors, to planting your own orchard and customizing your house is possible. Cross over

Halo: Combat Evolved - Xbox

This game rocks

Everything about Halo is great. Master Chief looks cool, the story is compelling (for an FPS), and the controls feel great. Walking up to a grunt and bashing him with your rifle or throwing a sticky grenade and watching run into another group of baddies is awesome.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Xbox

Best Star Wars Game

KOTOR is a great game. The world feels expansive, nearly everything is customizable, the story is epic in it's own right. The game draws you in wants keep you there. My only problem is the game can get a little glitchy sometimes. But it's not a big deal.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Wii

The legend of stale franchises

Yet another Zelda game. It's a great game, but it feels familiar. It's also pretty long (35-40 hrs.) A little long for my tastes though.
