The Darkness comes

Hey everyone. don't care if you read this I just want to help people with any knowledge on this game. So im finally back.

First lets start off. This is a creepy game. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. For the most part the combo of Mob&Demons works well but in the limelight it could be a little brighter to appeal to other types of gamers. It's mostly revolving around vengence and killing. So in a way it can be fun but at other times it will get like "I'm tired of all these Mobsters." So for some it's enjoyable. It will occasionally mix up things by introducing a special enemy somewhere half way into the game or 1/4 I'm not sure. But it's that creepy erie feeling that helps it keep it's roots.

I'l take a quick look at the guns. Well and powers. Guns are a little out there. One powers of yours, being half demon or something like that, is the darkness guns(original name) Once you get them thats basically what you'll be using unless there is no darkness around. which you need to power your abilites. Uzis, shotguns, dual pistols, rifles. It perfect when it comes to the guns and amount of. The powers however are the mainstay of any players arsenal. The strongest is most likly the black hole. Easy to kill with, good against those sheilded foes. Then there is the arm thingy. I honestly have no idea what it is. It's a quick kill will take out some enemies if your out of ammo. Otherwise just stick to what you got, as it's not entirly useful against large groups of enemies. Will there are more but Im switching over to the multiplayer. Don't want to spoil everything.

The multiplayer sucks. Lag, pathetic game base(never anybody on), poor game types. A nice feature is the ability to play as a darkling, which you get to summon in the single player campain.

Time for my lovley round up. It's got a good solid single player, horrible multiplayer. The game goes well with its setting. Story goes smoothly though pay attention or you might miss something. I recommend to about 7/10 fps fans, and 10/10 of those emo kids. (just kidding) As for stars it's worthy of a 4/5. even for a horrible multiplayer. It's just good and the multiplayer was more tacked on so I'm going to count it out for a bit.

Battlefield Bad Company

From here on I can finally write about the multiplayer in games. I finally got Xbox live. That should help with my reviews. Now here it is but I will never give a game a 5/5 star rating unless it could truly wow me. Now I should get along with the review.

Now I would like to speak on the weapons here. They are incredibly well designed.I would love to meet the artist who drew them. Anyhow, There is a great amount of guns in the game. But you have to find some of them. It's an achievement to find them all as well. So the little menu that shows the stats of the weapons and which ones you have found really helps. So their overall a great set of guns and their are always more to be found so your never at a lose.

The graphics in game are well done. The trees and large open areas are very green. Cities are never really there for me. I usually actually leave nothing left of any building. But when I get into town I usually think "These are some nice looking buildings, can't wait to blow them up". The characters are well made but enemies all look alike so it's not much difference in that part.

Physics are so fun. Enemies go down, hard. Or they go up. The physics allow some flying so to speak but it's not whacked out. So any player would easily accept it. Then there comes down to deconstruction. I love it. Buildings are blown up. There never really is any cover left. Almost everything is able to be destroyed. You can't how ever, Bring down an entire building. But whats usually left is a skeletal house. So I love the physics. Any player will get a kick out of it.

Multiplayer. For the most part it's pretty forward. One mode. Unless you download the conquest mode. I just deleted it. Didn't care much for it. So in the long run a decided to stick with gold rush. Rules are simple. Destroy the enemy base or destroy the two gold crates held by the enemy. Simple yet very fun. Plus there is the add on of having to unlock the better guns. You can only do this with credits you get from ranking up.

So now for the how-down. ( I know lame just felt like adding that.) I have to give this game a 4/5 star rating. It's fun and most shooter fans will love this game. So I recommend this to 9/10 of every shooter fan. You must enjoy this game. And for those that want to blow up some buildings get this game it will let you get rid of some steam. Enjoy those explosives.

Viking Battle for Asgard

It's late at night were I live so I'll try to keep it short.
Let's get down to the dance now shall we. first off there's the combat. my god can it get repetitive. There is suppose to be a fair amount of moves to learn and hack more limbs off. But there were not so many moves. And if your stuck in a big crowd then your basically kneeling begging for death. Most i have ever been able to take on was about 30. But 30 isn't much when compared to what you have to fight. Sometimes the armies grow so large there's at least a thousand warriors fighting at a time. That's really the only time you can take on any large groups. What i love is if you ever have any buddies, is the can actually kill other dudes. Comes in handy. Combat will get repetitive. But what keeps me coming back is the fact that the army clashes are massive. Then there are the graphics. Pretty well done for the amount of men it has to support at a time. Runs smooth no unruly layers that i have noticed. Thankfully for me the controls were always well down. Getting the message correctly. The story absolutely sucks. No depth or anything to drag you into it.I must say it's a fun game at times. But everything about it will get repetitive quickly. So it has good points and a lot of bad points. It deserves a 2/5 stars. I suggest if you don't like heavy hack-and-hack or massive armies clashing don't get this. Burn this thing with holy water. And for those that do care for hack-and-hack, clashing armies, then get this and say 'Eat my axe'. Enjoy :)

Grand Theft Auto IV - Xbox 360

Pros Cons

Awesome audio Repetitive gameplay
Engaging story Lousy camera/viewpoint
Loads of content
Just plain fun
Grand Theft Auto 4

In all fairness there are so many things wrong with this game yet so many things right. Once again just like Front line: fuel of war I'll go down a list.Weapons always first.
Weapons- Alright there are many guns but they fall under category fists, melee, pistols, shotguns, sub machine guns, assault rifles, rpgs, grenades. Each category has two weapons in them to choose from. One is better then the other in various ways. The weapons are pretty well powered balanced out well. Example. In the sub machine guns category you can choose between two guns MP5 or UZI. MP5 has more accuracy but the UZI has more ammo per clip. Goes for awhile sometimes just power difference.

Graphics-Well now here's a nice twist.A grand theft auto with good graphics. yes they are good and yes the shading and tint and perfect for all of their clothing. Cars are perfect to every aspect. Not much to say but it could look even more life like if that's even possible. Well buildings were a little off. But Still convincing. Now I had some beef with the loading. Altogether fast or none at all but i noticed sometimes all the textures and that took a few seconds to overlap and come to the finish.

Physics- what can i say their good. Although you can encounter parts were what the hell just went flying by me.(a car just blew up and flew right by me from a block away)Well speaking of cars they dent realistically or close to. I spent many hours jumping off things(including buildings) to see my car become half a car. With motorcycling you can fall off a bit too easily. And the landings suck. The physics engine Euphoria did a good job but sometimes even though it may not seem like it, it had caused a rag doll impact. It basically says that your protagonists body doesn't exert a force. Newtons law of motion states that for every action there's an equal and opposite reaction. And obviously Euphoria doesn't get that. But hey it keeps it close to my expectations.

Content- There's a lot of stuff in this game. Even an in game website. But not enough well freedom wise everything else rocks. I would kindly prefer to be able to go into any house in the game and blow the heads off of the owners heads but hey wait till next one right.(if there is a next one) Anyway me and my friend hoped for a butt load of freedom do anything you want right. But Sadly they went for the realistic route unlike Saints Row 2 which i hear took the route i wanted for GTA4. I wanted to explore rooftops and go into office buildings and take people hostage. But you can't. Though Make my fun doing Parkour between buildings as best as i could.

Now bringing it down lets do a round up. It's a good game butt load of stuff to do. But not much free roaming as i had hoped. Altogether i would recommend this to about 10/10 of every Shooter fan. And give it a 4/5.

Frontlines: Fuel of War - Xbox 360

Pros Cons
Engaging story Ugly visuals
Intense action Annoying audio
Tight controls Not enough content
Just plain fun Repetitive gameplay
  Braindead computer AI
Frontlines Feul of war

Obviously from the pros and cons chart you wouldn't get this game right. Well wrong. This can be a fun game gotta make something out of it. The story is a real good strong point. Told by your squad commander. It simply displays a quick briefing and that's it but they are able to pack a lot of information into a short period. No to get more into it. Let's start with the weapons since it doesn't have much content to it i think i can go down a simple list. First weapons.

Weapons- The weapons design are well made and have some good depth to them and firing from the hip gives a good view of how well the barrel takes to the actual reticule. Unfortunately the weapons are few and far between. The basic assault rifle gives a good 50 round clip but when you reload you lose any bullets left in your clip. And one problem that really itches me is that you can't pick up an enemy's rifle. Or any weapons they drop from their dead bodies. But their are weapons at certain points in each level that you can find. Thankfully your inventory is big so it won't fill up to quickly. The weapons are fun but not many to choose. Their is an option to change your class after dieing giving you access to different weapons, although limited access to each class during certain missions.

Graphics- they suck, almost literally. They look cell-shaded. And not much to their design. Sometimes the guy's look like massive blobs with arms and weapons slung under them. Good points that go with the graphics are the explosions. Good but not the best I've seen. Then the Buildings have a skillful depth to their design. Any break down walls or blown up buildings half standing look extremely well made. Lucky for the player is that their not so bad that you need to turn around and say
"what i disgrace". Some good parts some bad they equal each other out.

Physics- They are a disgrace. What i call the 'death throw' is when you kill a guy and then all of a sudden he is tossed in the air shouting 'I believe I can fly'. Thankfully added to the screwed up physics is the fact that you can blow some stuff up. But the explosions have to much power behind them.(got killed by a flying wall) But the 'death throw' is more used for comical reasons. I shot this guy of the top of the building and landed on explosive throwing him high into the air again.

Down to the odds. Now it's can be a fun game or not depends what you like. I how ever can't get past the graphics and physics but for replys sake i will give it a standing 3/5 stars. And recommend it to 4/10 of all shooter fans.
