Warhawk - PS3

Pleasently Surprised

Up until the last couple of weeks I never had any desire to get this game, i didnt know anything about it and I didnt care to. For whatever reason I was just un-interested. BUT as the days got closer, more info was leaked, and people started to actually play the game it started to peak my interest. All my memories of RFOM online started to come back to me, staying up until 4 am blasting away at people. I asked myself if this game had that sort of potential, so I started to do the research, reading reviews, watching videos, talking with people on this site. All of a sudden I was hooked, excited I had to get the game... PLEASENTLY SURPRISED, the game is awesome, fun, exciteing, difficult at times, but not overly frustrating. The game is flat out fun, especially once you get past the initial shock and awe period, the learning period. there is so much going on, you can be battling it out trying to gain a strategic base on the ground while warhawks are blowing up overhead and plane debris is falling to the ground. The game has balance, besides individual skill NOBODY will outmatch anyone else simply because they are in a vehicle. I recommend this game to anyone who likes organized chaos, and online games... highly recommended.

NCAA Football 08 - PS3

I enjoy it

First off I havent played or seen the 360 version so I have not compared it to that version. I like this game a lot,but I have been a fan of the series for awhile. I actually prefer college football to Madden, i like how it plays compared to Madden. I also like running the option and moving up the rankings and stuff. There were a few control issues that frustrated me, I do not know why they changed the controls from what it normally is. Another thing that bothered me was when you are cycling through the players, if you pass the player you want you have to cycle all the way through all of them. I also like the dynasty mode, recruiting is fun with a lot of new features, there is a lot more to it now. Overall I like this game, some things could be better but I still like the game a lot.

F.E.A.R. - PS3

slightly disapointed

I really had been anticipating this gae for awhile, I have been dying for something "mature" that could possibly take the place of resistance and get me through the next couple of months. Visually this game was a real let down, and hearing the reviews before hand really set me back because I wasnt expecting that, but the game play appears to be fun. I like hw the A.I. isnt just mindless soilders and actually try and use tactics. I like the creepyness of it all and think that even though most of the vsulas are blah the character models are pretty good. I look forward to really getting into the game and hopefully the gameplay will makeup for what it is lacking in other areas.

finally

FINALLY a 1st person shooter tht doesnt cause me to feel sick or get dizzy. lol I wqas really looking forward to playing this game and it was pretty much what i thought it was going to be. Its an amazing game, the battles are insane and i like how smart the chimera get as you increase the difficulty. Just an overall fun game and if this is a sign of things to come there is no doubt in my mind PLAYSTATION will have fabulous games like usual.
