Not As Good As The Other Command And Conquer Games

There was just something off with this game. I did love the Ion Cannon weapon, but that alone did not pull this game up to where it should have been in comparisson to the other Command And Conquer games.

First, the decision to set the game in the future was flawed in that it had technolgy far in advance from what will most likely come out in 2029....it is supposed to be realistic like the other games.

Second, the units in the game are awful and seem out of place with cyborgs and Mechs. They just did not fit in with the units that were more common to the other games.

Sure this game is fun, but I would Choose Red Alert 2 over this any day.

Not Worth It

This game has to be one of the worst strategy games that I have ever played.

The graphics were sub par and the controls could have seen some revisions. I was sorry that I bought this game, even when it was on sale several years ago.

The game just does not compare in any way, shape, or form to the other strategy games available now or back then. Don't even watse your time with this poor excuse for a game.

Star Trek Should Not Be A Ground Strategy Game

This is yet another bad Star Trek game and worse of all, it has almost little to do with Star Trek minus the storyline and races.

It is basically like they just took a strategy game that already existed and touched it up so it could fit in with Star Trek. If that were the case and or if they inteneded to make a good Star Trek strategy game, I would have to say they fail miserably.

This is yet another game I adivse not even to pick up, not even for free, because this game is that bad....in fact, I am changing the score from 1.0 to .75 right now....

Best Expansion Pack I Ever Had

This is the best expansion back I have ever had for a PC game.

I really love playing as the Koreans fighting against the Mongols with my "turtle" ships. This was quite an educational game expansion as well as being quite fun and entertaining, even though it did suck hours away from my like as all games like this do.

Now, the only problem could not be seen when it was created...it won't work on my XP computer....

This Is Game Is Quite Fun

THis game was quite nice to play back in the day, especially when I found out how to change the way the game played with the .rules document.

The interface is very intuitive and the single player and storyline is very interesting, so much that it is more fun at times to play through the storyline than to play the multiplayer, which is also quite fun. It is easy to spend hours on this game and then spend many more hours the next week even years later.

I would not recommend going out and getting this game, but I would recommend getting the Command and Conquer: The First Decade because it includes other great games from the Command and Conquer series...this game should be the top of your list for reasons to get tha compilation.
