Demo review

Played the demo of this the other day, it really is one of a kind game.
You dont play it like the average game, though I have seen this sort of stuff used in other games before, just not a whole game before.
Basically the game is full of cut scenes, except all these scenes you interact with.

One of the two levels in the demo, you get into a fight. Its like a movie except every few seconds the fight will take a split second pause and the button "X" on the control pad will appear on screen, you need to press "X" fast and then you will make the attack. This is repeated with different buttons, to make it rather intensive and fun.

The story seems top notch, very detailed and somewhat easy to believe.
The graphics are amazing, the sound is good too.

Only bad thing I would say about it from what I learnt from the demo is you are very limited to your movements, and the movement is actually quite lame.
What I mean is, this game is very very far from a "explore the world" type of game where you can go wherever you want with no limits.

Overall I would give it 8/10.
It is a unique game, but to be fair that reason alone doesnt make it quite so amazing as some previews are suggesting.

I personally wont be buying it, not because its bad. Simply because theres plenty of other games coming out around the same time, and Heavy Rain isnt one of the ones at the top of my list.
