Star Wars Bounty Hunter - PS2

Totally didn't meet my expectations

I remember back when the PS2 came out and the original Trilogy had just been rereleased, I wanted a Boba Fett bounty hunting game. I envisioned a game that let you choose which bounties you went after and let you level up your skills.

when I heard about this game I was totally psyched. but it was so linear and the controls were just plain cumbersome. What a let down.

Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith - PS2

Pros Cons
Awesome audio Unresponsive controls
like a patient with Alzheimer's, I reach for a Star Wars game.

I really could not figure out why I was getting this game. It was almost as if I kept forgetting how bad the previous prequel and tie in game was. But sure enough, I ended up getting this game and I suffered through the whole thing.

Am i the only person who thinks that it shouldn't take more than one hit to take down a battle droid?

and the light saber battles are really frustrating. Although I do like that in the game version of Episode III Mace Windu doesn't go down like a chump.

Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks - PS2

Pros Cons
Tight controls Repetitive gameplay
a pretty darn good title

This game wasn't great, but it was an absolute blast to play. I was wondering how they would pull off the fighting fatalities in a beat-em-up game, and I was truly pleased. I was really excited when I found more than two fatalities per player.

adding Sub zero and Scorpion as playable characters was fun, but I never bothered to play through the game after I beat it with Liu and Kung Lao.

I think this is a must own title, especially with the Kollector's pack coming out.

Grand Theft Auto III - PS2

Pros Cons
Addictive gameplay Lousy camera/viewpoint
and nothing was ever the same

The game is pretty unplayable by today's standards, but I will never forget the first time I took a baseball bat to a pedestrian's head. It was the first time I actually stopped playing for a moment and said to my self "dear God... What...What have I done?"

My college room mates and I did nothing but play this game for two days straight.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - PS2

Pros Cons
Addictive gameplay Lousy camera/viewpoint
the best of the old generation

This was definitely the best of the three GTAs released on the PS2. There was so much to do it became a bit overwhelming. My favorite new feature was the ability to fly airplanes. I was disappointed when that didn't make it into GTA IV.

If I have one problem with San Andreas, (other than the old gen controls) it's that the map is actually "too" big. It takes a long time to get anywhere and there's not alot going on in between cities.

It would have been fun if Rockstar had included wildlife into the woods.
