What happens in Vegas...
Las Vegas. A city of women, gambling, and... guns? Yup. The terrorists have come to Vegas and they mean business. Naturally, you are called in to stop the threat. While the single player of Rainbow Six Vegas is short, it does help to prepare you for the real bread and butter of the game which is the multiplayer.
"You play as Logan Keller in search of two of his friends who have been captured by the terrorists. Of course, you end up in Vegas and soon you figure out that this is much bigger than you thought. There is very little more to the story. You are simply briefed in a chopper about what you need to do and then you simply jump out and do it.
"Although there is not much to the story, the gameplay is amazing! There is a great cover system similar to the one in Gears of War which brings a whole new dimension to the game. Instead of always crouching behind cover, you simply walk up to a wall or box and press and hold the left trigger. From here you can blind fire and also assess your situation.
"Weapon customization is another awesome addition to an already great package. You can fit your guns with all kinds of scopes, sights, high capacity mags, and silencers. This means that not only can you pick the right gun for the mission, but you can also customize it to fit your needs exactly. Whether you are the silent and deadly type, the run and gun type, or somewhere in between, the options are vast!
"Like I said before, the multiplayer is the bread and butter of this game. It is very addicting. It is the reason why you should get this game. When you start out, you customize your player and then get right into the game. As you win more games, you will unlock more things to customize your player. From clothes, to armor, to hats and gas masks... and pink camouflage? Yes, I think everyone has a very unique looking player. You can even use the Xbox LIVE camera to take a picture of your face and put it on your player. If that isn't customization, I don't know what is!
"The graphics on this game are beautiful and are a huge step up from the last Rainbow Six games. Rainbow Six Vegas has a very distinct look that no other game has. Everything is sharp, windows smash into thousands of pieces, and the environments are visually amazing and memorable.
"I hope this review convinced you to get this game because it is really awesome! If you are thinking of getting Rainbow Six Vegas 2, definitely get this first. You won't regret it!

Great Multiplayer! Light on Story
Have you ever been playing a shooter game like Halo 3 and knew that your enemy was on the other side of a wall and wished that you could kill them without exposing yourself? This is the game for you if you answered yes to that question. Call of Duty 4 is a game set apart from other average shooters because of its great multiplayer, visuals that will stun even hardcore PC gamers, over the top action, and great audio that will make you feel as if you really are fighting on a battlefield. While the single player is short, it is very memorable and worth playing over again. The real meat of the game is the multiplayer. There is a superb upgrading system and "perks" (like holding more ammo, running longer, dropping a live grenade when you die, or disappearing off the enemy's radar to name a few) that you can use to fit your playing When you make 3 kills in a row without dying in a match, you unlock a radar scan that can temporarily show you and your teammates where your enemies are. If you make 5 kills in a row without dying, you will unlock the air strike to rain down on your enemies (just don't do it on your teammates or they will be pretty pissed). Finally, if you can reach 7 kills in a row, you will unlock an attack helicopter for some air support. As you play more online multiplayer, you will soon unlock new weapons and "perks." This gives you great incentive to keep playing so you can unlock that Gold Desert Eagle! There are also challenges (like getting a certain amount of kills or head shots) for each individual weapon that will give you a great reason to keep using that AK-47. As you beat these challenges, you will obtain new camo for your gun and new attachments like a laser sight. The controls are so easy that before long, you will forget that you are even holding a controller! The visuals of COD4 are greatly improved over the past two Call of Duty games thanks to the great work by the developers at Infinity Ward. Call of Duty 4 will continue to spin in your console until the next Call of Duty arrives. The multiplayer is so awesome that the short single player is forgivable. If you haven't bought this game yet, get off your lazy ass and go buy it already!

pretty good...
the game has a lot of glitches but the explosions are superb! the audio is annoying (there's about 5 different lines that the npc's say in the game and they get very annoying). the visuals on this game aren't perfect but still are amazing! especially when you call in your first bunker buster bomb. it's awesome! if you like a great story, there isn't much here for you. but open world fans who could care less about the story should definitely get this game! it is worth it!
