Does what it does

Lets see it can play next gen games check! --------------------------------------------------- Lets See It has motion joystick (I already no Microsoft was the first to have one eight years ago) ----------------------------------------------------- Has top exclusives Check --------------------------------------------------- Will not be bought for playing movies like the other two could be Check (developers want to sell games) Check! --------------------------------------------------- Has its own niche check! --------------------------------------------------- will still appeal to its past customers Check and check --------------------------------------------------- extra will make your last gen tv look as good as it can Check --------------------------------------------------- Will it make the next gen look as good as possible or close? uncheck --------------------------------------------------- close to the others horse power? uncheck --------------------------------------------------- awesome launch check! --------------------------------------------------- AFFORDABLE Super check! --------------------------------------------------- If not for the limit in HDTV I'd give it a 5 but long term it gets a 4.0 from me! I'm getting one on day one! I only make 65,000 a year $600 is too exspensive for me to get a PS3 at that price. I will wait for one of these two things to happen A top notch TURN-BASED-RPG or a 100$ price drop. I will now consider 20gig system since I dont need it for 1080p(I figure if 360 can display 1080p without hdmi then Sony should be able to figure this out also) as long as they didn't paint themslefs into another corner.

PlayStation 3 - PS3

Expectations set very high. Results not even the highest ability

Lets see what Sony has defined what there name brand means to me. This review is based on what actually has happened: Sony has gain the name Fony: 1 a 4.0ghz cpu (ops make that 3.2 they lied) 2 8 ports (ops lied again) 3 dual HDMI 1080p ports(ops,lied 1 for 599 no cable) 4 Lookt at MGS4 game play(ops would like to be like that) lied 5 We are on tract to get 4 million still (1 day later ops, make that 500k worldwide) 6 World wide release including Europe! (1 day after reaffirming ops! March 2007) 7 our 550 GHZ GPU trumps theres! (ops its 500GHZ now)lied again. Oh wait we are suppose to believe they Just now figure this out in September! Even though they say it was already running at that speed! 8 Yes our best looking game was on PS3(ops people took pictures of it running on a xbox kit! well sue) 9 play a game and a movie at the same time! (ops someone noticed there was only one drive! dang!) 10 It will cure cancer! map the Human Genome! Its a computer trust us! 11 Sadam is using it for weapons of mass destructions. 12 Blue ray is good for games! (ops it will load a minumum of 33% slower. 13 Our bus speed is better than microsofts (ops Developers are saying it is slower even according to snnys specs) 14 OPS the bus speed also got a downgrade? 15 It will run games at 1080p 120 fps! (ops not in this life time) 16 The Chinese will use it to power there missiles (ops I forgot how insulting to the Chinese) 17 The online will be free (ops just like ps2 its free but the publishers charge 10 per game per month) 18 Ops turns out 99% of all those games where demo demos at E3 even the ones with game graphs! except the one that was running on the xbox360 development kit. 19 The xbox360 is too exspensive (ops ps3 is worse)! 20 The ps1 will do Jurasic park grapics see! that was produced by a PS(1) (ops as a tech demo!) 21 Look the ps1 will do 1 MILLION polygons a second (ops turns out to be 240 unshaded at best) 22 Oh look the emotion engiine!(ps2) will do 66 to 100 Million polygons a second! (ops Guess we better make our lie sound more reasonable Lets just say 20 million even though everyone else says 3 million tops) 23 Oh look! the PS3 will gain even more market share (ops sir at this point no one will believe that! Shut up! these fools will believe any Every lie I come up with, Forever!) 24 In short people are like a prospective make. Made loyal to the emotional highs gained from the lies. Loyalty credited by lies! 25 Not only dual HDMI ports but will be able to display simultaneous 1080p signals (ops! Most people saw this as bull from the begging)It actually helped people to look at the other claims again Even some of the blind fan boys.) and oh yeah they lied again! I can go on. But Fony has decided to use a fact that most politicians use--- The Masses forget! ( at least in the past is used to take six months, what happened to---fool me twice shame on me? ) This machine has enough power to be second most powerfull (not buying 1 processor against 3 with dalawa clock threads Sucks! No confidence in how many games will be out for it in the future when the publishers and developer finally figure out they are being lied to on purpose also! But I will get when it is worth my $350 limit for this machine (in other words when good Turn based RPGs that are not already on the 360 or wii comes out) My score will go up to a 2 in two years
