NARC - PS2

A suprisingly good budget title

NARC is like GTA except without cars. You run around, shoot people, complete missions, and take drugs, like weed and ecstasy, that enhance your performance. Yes this is probably one of the only games where you take drugs to increase your performance (slow down time, make enemies stop being hostile, etc.). You play as cops Jack and Marcus who try to take down a drug syndicate called KRAK and to do that you must bust drug pushers and kill many people. There is a large amount of weapons, from uzis to shotguns to rocket launchers. And there are even shotgun mics that let you listen in on other conversations. And the game is $20 bucks. Don't expect anything revolutionary though what you see is what you get. So it's pretty good overall and it's worth $20.

Fight Club - Xbox

First rule of Fight Club: Don't make a game based on it

Fight Club is by far one of the worst fighting games I have ever played. There are no long combos-there are stupid single strikes and short 4-hit combos. This makes the game move really slow. The character creation sucks with on;y 3 choices of pants, hair and shirts and they suck too. The only cool thing about the game are the bone-breaking moves and that's it. This game should have never been made.

Star Fox: Assault - GameCube

A failing sequel.

Star Fox: Assault has little to offer in terms of fun. The only fun is of Assault is when your in the Arwing. But Arwing levels make up less then half of the game. The rest is crappy on-foot shooting levels. These levels get very repetitive very fast. And the on-foot contols are crap. When you get in the Landmaster tank you will also notice the controls are crap. So in the end Assault is a huge letdown to fans of the series. If you want to play it DON'T BUY IT just rent it.

Brothers in Arms - Xbox

One of the best shooters I've ever played.

Brothers in Arms is a first person shooter based on a true story and it is REALLY FUN! The graphics are pretty good and so are the controls. One of the coolest features in the game is the ability to flank the enemy. You can occupy the enemies and tell your soldiers to go around the enemies and flank them or you could flank them yourself and let your soldiers occupy them. So you owe it to yourself to play this game if you like FPS's.

Tekken 5 - PS2

Tekken's back and better them ever!

Tekken 5 is the best in the series so far. Heck it's one of the best fighting games I've ever played hands down. Most of the previous fighters are back and with 3 newcomers Raven, Asuka, and Feng. This is the first Tekken that allows you to customize your fighter's appearence like Virtua Fighter 4. And along with story mode there is arcade mode where you fight up the ranks to become champion also like Virtua Fighter 4. So if you are a Tekken fan or fighting fan this is a must buy.
