The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - Xbox

Okay, but not good enough.

The graphics are OK in a sense that almost everything looks cartoony. The sound could have been better, at least put in one of the actors! They were however very chronologically corrcet about Tom Bombadil and the others in the begining which was cool since I expected them in the first one to get all the characters from the book in there. The fighting could have been improved. An OK game it is.

ESPN NFL 2K5 - Xbox

Own my soul? Take the rest of me with it!

I just got the game, and I have to admit, Madden can wait 'til Christmas, 'cause ESPN gave me a hit that I didn't see coming. The graphics are phenominal in a sense that you're almost right there on the field. The presentation is great, but needs a few tweaks for next seaon. The thing that impressed me was the gameplay. You can choose how the d-line is set up, plus the linebackers and coverage guys can be set up the way you like them as well. The hurry-up mode is better than Madden's 'cause you can play something different instead of the play you used earlier. The sound on the game can be tweaked as well, since I barely can hear them, then again, maybe I need to turn down the music playing in my head. All in all, when they said it would "own your soul", then f'n meant it. Great job.

Fable - Xbox

Holy s***! I've been blessed by God!

The whole custom character idea is perfect. You can change up from swordplay to long-range to magic, hopefully with a press of a button. The desicions you make will change everything from your looks to hopefully your badass arsenal of weapons. Looks like a solid game. Can't wait 'till it come out.

WWE Day of Reckoning - GameCube

Looks pretty damn good!

One of the reasons why I did'nt get rid of my GC for good, Yuke's gives us the best GC wrestling game to date, WWE: Day of Reckoning. No Austin, no Lesnar, and certainly no Goldberg means that the best WWE wrestler in all of WWE's history comes to the spotlight one more time. That's right, The Undertaker, in his retro/badass look, will be the one everyone looks for in this one. The wrestlers will no doubt look better than the other previous attempts. Brand new storyline, which this time, McMahon's looking for wrestlers than firing them, means you get to work your way up the ranks of the WWE. Better wrestler models, better storyline= one helluva game!

Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes the Neighborhood - PS2

First Look y'all!

I saw some screens from the game and it looks pretty damn good! The wrestling will go for the more professional "location-specific" wrestling instead of moves coming from the developers sick crazy minds. The weapons will still be in there and will support online play. New stuff for the game will include weapons like the weed-eater, chainsaw, and others. The environment will be more interactive, including at your leisure, setting up several different weapons like the table and other ground based weapons to make a make-shift Inferno match. Chaaracters include "The Most Hated Band In The World" Insane Clown Posse as well as the Backyard Babes, plus the charatcers from the last game(hopefully). The Create-A-Wrestler mode will be deeper than the last one in which you change his or her apperance the way you see fit. you can even put tattoos on them if you wish. All in all it looks like a solid game for PS2 and Xbox this year! Thanx for your time.
