One word to describe MGS3: Awsome.
The one thing that made the MGS seris so great was it's awsome storylines. MGS3, without a doubt, has the best story a game could every have. The story is full of many twists, drama, action and surprises. MGS3 is based in a different era than the other MGS games. This time it's based in the 1960's and you don't play as Solid Snake. Well, you sort of, but you play as his somewhat called "father" Yes, you play as Big Boss. The game is way better than MGS2 and even MGS1. The voice acting is amazing and cut scenes are amazing. They have lots of action too. To try not to spoil anything about MGS3 awsomet story, here is a quick an small summary. You play as Snake (a.k.a. Big boss) and your mission is to resue a man named Sokolov. But things just get worse and you face off against a group called the "Cobras". There are lots a boss battles. Some are hard, some are easy. There are evern really long boss battles. MGS3 has the best story I have ever seen in a video game. MGS3's gameplay is slightly different than MGS2. You now have to eat and capture or find food to refill your stamia and heal and cure your wounds. You now have to use camouflage to out smart your enimies. You can also do a lot of more martial arts moves using CQC (close quarters combat). In the game you don't have your trusty radar, now you have to use your senses such as see and hear to sneak by your enimies. The gameplay is more realistic than MGS1 or MGS2. The Graphics are the best I've ever seen on a Ps2. The jungle looks amazing and many of the different eniviroment and effects you'll see the game are great too. The sound is amazing. Great voice acting and great theme music add to the overall experience. Unfortunly, the game does have some camera problems but overall, the controls are solid. MGS3 is amazing game with a great experience, story and gameplay. Graphics: 5.0 Sound: 5.0 Controls: 4.5 Fun Factor: 5.0

It's finally here. Was it worth the long wait?
It's finally here. Halo 2 has now hit stores and thousands of people lined up to get their hands on it. But was it worth the wait? Well yes....but also no. The game starts off a little bit after the first Halo. The first level of the game is pretty much the same thing as the first level in Halo. Then Master Chief goes to Earth to fight off the Covenant. But there was very few Earth levels. Quickly afterwards you got to another....umm...you know. During the campaign you run into other characters such as 343 Guilty Spark and the infestation of the flood. Unfortunatly, the campagin ended so quickly and had one of the worst endings in the world. After I finshed Halo 2, I felt empty handed and i wanted more. But in the gameplay of the campagin made the campagin at least somewhat satisfying. Halo 2 plays much like Halo. The controls are pretty much the same and the graphics had a bit of an upgrade but the game had some graphical glitches. Now, you can dual-weild weapons which is useful aganist some harder enimies. You can also Hijack vechicles. There are very few new vechicles but some of them have afterburnners for more speed. Also, the A.I. teamates and drive vechicles while you shoot of the Turret. The Enemy A.i. is great also . They hide, take cover, dodge etc. To sum it all up, the gameplay is great. The audio is also great with good sound effects, music and voice acting. But some wonky dialogue. The multiplayer options are amazing and the Xbox live online gameplay is very addictive and probably the best xbox online game you'll ever play. Doesn't matter if you'll playing co-op, splitscreen or online, either way, you'll have a blast. It may had a dissapointing ending but the gameplay part of the game is the reason Halo 2 is a great game. Halo 1's campagin was a bit better than Halo 2's but Halo 2's online and multiplayer is the reason many will be playing years after it's release. Jak 3 was fun, challenging, smart and is definitly worth your $40.
The Jak seris was the first platformer game on the Ps2. Last year, Jak 2 hit shelves with a total new look. Jak 3 is now out and if you were smart, you would buy this game now or at least rent it. Jak 3 starts a year later after Jak 2 left off. Jak gets sent off to the wasteland by, Count Veger, The throne of Haven City. However, Haven City is in a war between metal heads and KG death bots. Soon after you get picked up by, Damas, the leader of Spargus, the city where all wastelanders live. Soon after that you will be doing missons, driving offroad cars, and blasting away at KG bots and Metal Heads. You will be able to go back to Haven City but it's completly destroyed by the war. You'll see many of the orignal characters from Jak 2 such as Torn, Ashlein, Keria etc. The gameplay is really great with fun missions. Some of the missions are challenging which is great. Who doesn't like challenges? You'll rarely finsh a mission on the first try but after practise, you'll finsh it eventually. The graphics are great and so is the sound. The voice acting is great which bring out the these characters like they are real. The story in the game is great but still not as great as the story of MGS. But the story and game together is like playing a movie. The controls are a bit messy but you'll get the hang of it eventually. The only problem I hand with the game was it was a bit too short. You'll get 12-15 hours out of Jak 3. Unlike Jak 2 which had 20 hours of gameplay. However, there is more replay value than Jak 2 with a lot of secrets. The game concludes very well, you get to find out who Mar really is, who percoursers really are and who Jak's father is. Overall, Jak 3 concludes very well. Jak 2 to slightly better than Jak 3 but Jak 3 has bigger and better enviroments. The Jak seris are a must buy games. Jak and Daxter seris is one of the best game seris I've ever played and is fun and challenging. Graphics: 5.0 Sound: 5.0 Controls: 4.5 Fun Factor: 5.0
Killzone - PS2

Sony may own a FPS, but will it withstand Halo?? The answer is....
Killzone is the first ever Sony published first person shooter, and to tell you now, Killzone is nothing like or compared to the Halo seris. But does that mean that Killzone is a bad game? Not at all but it could have been better if waan't affected by glitches and some gameplay problems. One the best things about Killzone is the graphics. The graphics are really great but the graphics engine is a bit too strong for the Ps2. The game suffers from graphic glitches which can get annoying at times. The sound is fairly well and so it the voice acting. The game controls well like any Ps2 FPS. However, Killzone has some gameplay problems. While the controls are pretty much straigt forward, the are no melee attacks, are buttons to jump or go prone. To jump, you would have to go to a ledge and let go of the gun and wait for your player to go over the obstcale which wastes some time and most of the time you get shot at. I also find throwing grenades awkward, it's a different button than shooting but you have press the L1 button to throw grenades which I found weird. The story is odd where the planet is getting overun by an army. The enimies pretty much look all the same to me and the A.I. was okay. Sometimes the enimies would just stand and shoot but then sometimes they would actually take cover.I found my squad A.I. was a bit weak also, they would just stand there and shoot and sometimes I would see them walk into walls. The game features 4 playable characters with each of their own missons which gets some replay value. The game also features 2-16 player online which also gives more replay value. Overall, Killzone is a solid shooter that isn't really bad or great. The game is fun but without online adapter put the funfactor to 3.5 Graphics: 4.5 Sound: 4.0 Controls:4.0 Fun Factor: 4.0 (or 3.5)

MOH is back into the Pacific, but will it lack like it's bro Rising Sun?
Medal of Honor Allied Assult was one of the best pc FPS games ever made. Now it's some what sequel, Pacific Assult is storming the Pacific with all it's got and it has proved worthy. The graphics the MOH: PC are really great. The game had great, lush and highly detailed enviroments. An example of this power is the Pearl Harbor level where you see lots of fire and water effects. You can even see fire reflections in the water. The sound is awsome. The music fits the mood very well and the sound affects give the experience that you were there. The voice overs are also half desent. The controls are very similar to Allied Assult's and there nothing really new with the controls which was a good thing. As for story wise, you play as Private Tomas Conlin and you are a marine. You start off in battle and then Tommy tells about his story in the war. The story is quite good which lets you capture that experience like you were Tomas Conlin. The game features real battles such as the attack on Pearl Harbor and the battles taking place in the Paciffic jungles. However, the Jungle theme does get awfully repetitive and finding your way sometimes could be frustrating, especially in the night levels. There also nice online play that is similar to AA but with ranks and a new Invadar mode. Overall, MOHPC is a great WWII experience that shouldn't be missed.
