Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - PS2

I love this game!

One word: Awesome. Just pure awesomeness. You get to kill everything, either by stabbing-blowing up-shooting-or punching. You get to eat just about everything you kill (except humans and dogs of course) You get to blow shit up, I love operating the anti-aircraft gun, just keep blowing those helicopters out of the sky because they keep coming and coming and coming. The boss', they are so creatively made that it's just a shame they die and never come back. There's easter eggs, and hidden stuff to find. No great game can be complete without a climatic and bad-ass storyline. Sometimes I just feel like blowing the shit out of the enemy with my favorite gun, and I could do that all day- it's just that fun. In this day and age of video gaming we forget what fun is about, some games may be addicting but not fun (World of Warcraft is what I was thinking about when I said that, not saying that that game isn't fun, just saying it's just sheer addictiveness) When you play this game you'll be reminded what fun is, just go and blow shit up, have a blast, stab a crab (crab BATTLE!!!) eat a ghavial (those crocodilians) blow those chopters out of the sky, hold up a soldier gun point and shoot him in the groin and watch him fall over and die in pain, punch in locker doors and push them onto enemies, throw snakes onto enemies (I think you can do that, I'll try it) plant an explosive right next to a girly magazine and blow the guy up while he's looking at scandalous pictures and making weird noises to it (you'll see what I mean when you try it), push guys over ledges over the rails. Well, Just try it.

Soul Calibur II - PS2

The Greatest Fighting game ever!

Forget Tekken, forget Virtua Fighter, and forget Mortal Kombat, this is your game! It's a dream to control, the smoothness of the fighting is great for both button mashers and skilled fighters. If you play this game for a long time, and play any other fighting game, then they just feel slow, that's because Soul Calibur II is very fast paced, even the blocking and parrying don't slow you down. You'd think that weapons would slow you down compaired to weaponless fighting games, but no- it's so much more faster. You often have that moment in this game where you did this sweet-ass move and you feel really good about yourself, and the combo variations feel endless, depending on which fighter you are using. It's just a classic, learning all the moves of your character will take a long time and some patience, unlike other games where it feels like you are doing the same moves over and over again. Soul Calibur III isn't as good, get this one the moment you spot it!

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII - Wii

Ridiculously stupid

The voice acting is stupid, the controls are a joke, it's extremely difficult to shoot things on the ground, it's just one giant pain in the ass. It's like, you can't aim at one plain and just shoot it down, no, you have to have it perfect. The damned bomb dropping NEVER works, so instead you just want to shoot directly at the objects on the ground, but it's impossible to get everything and not run into the ground. There really is no fun factor to this game, I hate the damn voice acting, it's so stupid, if they would have just left out the side comments, the stupid accents, and that annoying-ass voice that keeps repeating itself over and over again until you do what it wants, then it would be fine- then after that they should assess all the rest of the game's problems. I just don't have the patience for horrible games, maybe you guys do. 1/5 for fun factor, 3/5 for graphics, 0/5 for the damn annoying audio.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz - Wii

If you have the patience for it...

It's pretty damn annoying, but if you have the patience to loose over and over and over and over again, then it's an entertaining game. But me, I scream, alot.

TMNT - Wii

This game rocks

You may have thought that the TMNT have jumped the shark already, but no, they haven't, they're still around. The movie was great, if you can get over the fact that the Shredder is dead and it's in CG. This game is what you may think what it'd be like to be a ninja, performing quick, dangerous, and acrobatic running moves which is the greatest part of the game. The mini games are really fun and challenging too, which is great to keep you going. I never played a Prince of Persia game in years, but I heard it uses the same game engine as Prince of Persia, try and compare if you want. Great voice acting as a movie based game should have, they didn't half-ass it. I do have my complaints tho, the battles are kind of slow and wear thin my patience no matter which turtle I use to fight or how I fight it.
