BEST GAME EVER!

When I rented this game, I was expecting another sub-par horror/shooter game like Doom 3 or Resident Evil 4, but after beating the game, I can safely say that this is one of , if not the best, the greatest horror/survival games EVER MADE! Not only will the mutants, beasts, and creatures you find will scare the living crap out of you, the graphics and amazing audio in the gameplay WILL BLOW YOU AWAY! This game is so perfect in so many ways that it would take me hours to explain, but there is some issues with the story that I did not understand. If you can, watch that special Animated movie that serves as a prelude to the game...because it fills in some of the holes in the story.

What a WWII Experience!

After I heard that COD5 would return to the milked-dry landscapes of WWII, I began to fear that they were leading the series back into the boring world that has been done before. But after I played COD5, I am proud to say that they took a dying genre (WWII) and gave it new life, creating one of the best shooter games of the year. Not only did they make WWII fun again, they took what they did best with COD4 and sucessfuly made it work once again. But the single player mode is only the half of it, for the online experience will BLOW YOU AWAY AGAIN! Nothing makes my day more than owning over 300 Nazi zombies and surviving 16 rounds in the Zombie mode with three friends and our "little friends". Thank you for making such a wonderful game.

A PSOne Classic

For those who were lucky enough to have played the Medievil series on the PSOne back between the years of 1998 and 2000, you can all agree with me when I say that this game is an instant classic in the gaming world. With an epic story, many diverse weapons, and cool modes, Medievil II is a great game that all should enjoy. Set in the 1800's, you take up the role of Sir Daniel Fortasque, the hero of the mythical land of Gallowmere who's eternal rest is once again disturbed by the evil magic of Zarok's spellbook, which has been unleashed upon the world by the power-thirsty Lord Palethorn as he seeks world domination. Its up to Sir Dan and his new group of allies to quest the English countryside, seeking the Chalice of Souls to unlock/create new weapons in the fight against the forces of evil. Overall, this game is extremely fun, well-balanced, and the epic story will keep you begging for more. The only issues with the game are some audio blemishes and some ugly visuals, but other than that, this game is a must play. 5 out of 5.

PROS: Amazing story mode, awsome weapons, interesting puzzles and mini-game modes.
CONS: Some minor audio issues, and a few ugly visuals.

A Zombie Game Done Right

When I first got this game, I was skeptical about how good this game would be, after hearing some bad things from my friends about it. But once I got past the first zombie breach section after killing over 200 zombies, I was hooked. For the next two weeks, I carved and hacked my way towards the end of the story mode, the thrill of almost endless zombie slaughtering filling me with the feeling that I was almost unstoppable. Even though I only achieved the "C" story ending (due to my many hours slaughtering roughly 100,000 zombies and ignoring most of the quests), I liked the game for almost every aspect of it. The only problems that I had with the game was that most of the people (who I had reluctantly chosen to save) are total IDIOTS. They either get themselves lost into a mob of bloodthirsty zombies which kills them before you can reach them, or they try too hard to help kill zombies and get brutally mobbed to death. The story is nice, so too are the graphics, but after my 5,000th zombie kill, the sense of repetitiveness sank in and I felt bored. Other than that, this game will forever live on in our hearts as one of the best zombie games to date.

PROS: Addicting gameplay, amazing graphics, total zombie ownage, and interesting story mode.
CONS: Repetitive gameplay, too much great zombie ownage can lead to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, dumb AI.

A Step Forward?

This game was to take the Nascar franchise into the next generation, and in a way it does. The HD visuals are amazing, the cars look great, and the action is great...but there are many things that hinder this great game. The biggest problem with the game is with the "new" physics system, which make the car always pull slightly to the left (even on straightaways) and makes turning difficult. Sure, the physics system leads to some amazing crashes and wrecks, but it hurts the gameplay. The A.I is somewhat better than in previous games, but they sometimes do really stupid things that lead to you crashing or getting damaged. Other than that, this game is pretty goo, but several major bugs and issues hinder an otherwise good game.

Pros: Amazing visuals, great racing, and great crashes.
Cons: Major glitching issues, bugs, and physics issues hurt the gameplay.
