Dissapointing to say the least
About four years ago when this game out i was expecting a half decent batman game, since vengeance was an actual decent. First decent batman game since Batman returns on the Snes. FZirst thing i noticed was the fact of Ubisoft was not making this game instead the company Kemco is handling this game. As the first cinematic opened the game looked pretty well done. The graphics are well done, voice acting was decent.and the story seems promising. However from there the game goes downhill, the game controls are awful, batman moves like a spazzing robot. The buttons are unresponsive, ther'es no camera reset button, plus the game gets extremly repetive and just boring. To be honest there's nothing else to say about this game it's awful, and if you see this game at a game shop stay away

Dissapointing
I was gamestop, about 2 or 3 years ago, looking for a new FPS to keep me busy for a while until Project Snowblind comes out, i stumbled upon this game for 11.99 used. I picked it up due to the fact that the pc version got good reviews, and also im a huge fan if Unreal Tournament. Unreal 2 you take control of the character John Dalton an ex marine, who with a bunch of other characters, an annoying robot, a hot chick, and an alcoholic repairman. go out to retrieve artifacts and to restore peace. Overall a pretty unoriginal story. as i start the first level your inside a miltary base trying to save a marine a lone survivor from an assault on the base from the aliens. The sad thing is this setting has been done many times before In alot of other games, Extermination etc. So pretty bland. The graphics have defintly not taken Advantage of xbox's graphical capibilites either. It pretty much looks like a touched up Halo 1, and from what i've seen on the pc version this is pretty dissapointing. The gameplay is pretty much like Unreal CHampionship, you get tons of weapons each weapon has 2 funtions etc, and again a huge dissapointment since the gameplay has been slowed down. I can understand slowing it down from Unreal championships speed, but this is slower then Halo 1, or Red faction on ps2 for that matter. The weapon Variety is great. alot of weapons to choose from, and as i mentioned 2 different fire modes. The only extra this game brings is the multiplayer. coop etc nothing to really write about it. Overall Pretty dissapointing game overall, i was defintly hoping for better graphics faster speed. and also a more original story. Multiplayer, and decent controls keep this game from getting a 2.0/ With xbox basicley being the home to console fps, i really cant see a reason to pick this up over the 50 or so other fps's out there, defintly pass on this one.

Showdown Review by Segageek
Well after playing the first 2 Legends Of Wrestling Games by Acclaim entertainment i was pretty excited and hoped that the latest entry in the series would finally be the great wrestlingf game that puts Acclaim back on the map. However i was sadly mistaken Showdown's biggest attration is the 70 = Legends that are playbale including greats like Ultimate Warrior, Jake The Snake Roberts, and Curt Henning. Acclaim said in an interview that they were gonna revamp the gameplay engine. and they did but sadly the game feels less like a Legends of wrestling game and feels more like there older WWF, ECW Games. and by that i mean one of the best features in the game aka the timing counter meter, has been replaced and now you can counter by one click of a button (aka Attitude) asnd cause of this all counters are way to easy to do and seriously hurts the game overall. Especally when you spend 3 minutes countering eachothers behind grapples. Another thing that seems to remind me of Past generation wrestling is the Create A Wrestler. its very very limeted in picking out your clothes and hairstyles and you really cxant edit your face or anything a huge step back for acclaim since they were the ones that made Create A Wrestler Popular another key flaw is that this game is plagued with glitches. Especally with the character models, collision detection Move animations, Ai behavior Etc SO basicley this game gets lost in its own stream of glitches and technical issues. Another part of this game that was aggarvating was out of randomness the character select screen has slowdown. Slowdown could be understandable in a game with alot of characters but the main menu character screen, it seems like Acclaim sent us the wrong copy and we have the BETA copy of this game. Overall i say avoid this game and get Smackdown HCTP for your wrestling fix. Acclaim seems to have dissapointed us with another wrestling game .

WWE DOR Review By Segageek
After 2 dissapointing games on Gamecube. THQ FINALLY delivers us a decent wrestling game. With one of the best wrestling games Of this year. And in some ways surpasses Smackdown HCTP. First off the Graphics look great, As does the character Models that just look amazing and far surpasses HCTP. Kane actually looks like Kane, and not some deformed looking Uncle Fester. All of the arenas look just like there real life counterparts. The devolpers did an amazing job making The Wrestlemania 20 Arena. Heck they even added an ambulance In the No Mercy arena just like in real life. The Gameplay is solid. It almost plays like WWF No Mercy (N64) which is great cause Its one of the greatest grappling systems In wrestlings games today. Pressing A, does a light grapple, While Holding down A does a Strong Grapple. Which doies more powerful moves. The blocking is easy to do as well. You use the 2 shoulder buttons to block. (aka Left for grapple, right for striking.) . The soundtrack to this game is awesome, for a while sadley the game did'nt add enough music tracks in the game. So the music gets repetitive. This game has so much to do like u can tinker with match modes so u can have submission matches, First Blood matches, Fatal 4 Way Hell In A Cell. Not to mention theres also a great CAW and you'll spend over an hour just creating your wrestler and edit all the moves u give him. And adjust his stats. Then After all that you can take him through Season Mode. Where you start out as a Jobber. and you earn your way to Sunday Night Heat. Win some matches, Then you get to go to Raw Or Smackdown. While this mode is fun. The fun sadley dies out, since theres only one story in season so there really is not much use replaying it. But with all the cash you earn in season mode you get to go unlock Moves, Outfits, etc. Overall if your a wrestling fan or love playing multiplayer games with friends. this is the game for you. Overall Score 8.75/10

Not good at all.
Ok, let me start off by saying this. I was really looking forward to this game. Cause the preivews and game trailors looked awesome and i was totally up for playing this game. But in the end this game left me dissapointed. First off the graphics Are below average there cartoony. The whole stage areas look bland. The character models look bad as well. The sound is the only good part to this game. Kick butt music from American Hi Fi, Insane Clown Posse, Bowling For Soup, Rancid, And alot more. I also liked the character voices which were pretty good as well. The Controls Are horrid. Only 4 grapple moves. The whole speed of the game makes the controls almost impossible. And reversals on this game are bad as well. Aerial moves on this game are horrid. Basicley pins on this game are useless since pretty much all matches end in KO. To make things worse matches range to 2 minutes or faster. The main mode in this game Talk show mode is ok kinda reminds of an Opera episode. lol But its very short and u can beat it in an hour. The extras on this game are pretty good like u get some cool videos,Characters,an extra game mode, Plus for Xbox users u can copy all the music tracks on this game to your Xbox harddrive. Which is like so cool lol. Overall this game is worth a rent at best. and is not worth $49.99 +Lots of extras +awesome sound + can copy music tracks on your Xbox -lame graphics -horrid controls -not alot of replay -short talk show mode
