Half-Life 2: The Orange Box - Xbox 360

5 for $60!?

The Orange Box is amazing. Half-Life 2, HF2 epi. 1 and epi. 2 have stunning visuals that will want you begging for more. The characters reactions and faces make the game even more better. Half-Life 2 takes off right where Half-Life ended and is worth 15 to 16 hours of gameplay. HF2: epi. 1 focuses more on teamwork and is worth around 4 hours of gameplay. HF2: epi. 2 is focused more on the Gravity Gun and being in a vehicle most of the game, it too is also worth about 4 hours of gameplay. Portal is a amazing mind game with a creepy twist. It will be one of the best action/mind game you'll ever play, and it's just an extra in The Orange Box! Your a test subject at Aprature Science and your given a Portal "gun". Your constantly being watched and monitered by funny sounding computer thing, GlaDOS. Team Fortress 2 makes it's way onto The Orange Box with a bang. Like any sequel, people aren't sure if it will be awesome, or a shame. Team Fortress 2 extends the meaning "awesome sequel". Pick your class, and head online! The only tiny problem is that the levels can be repetitive for a serious gamer. Overall, The Orange Box is a buy for HF fans everywhere. Even if you've never played HF, you'll be fine buying this. The Orange Box will have you saying "5 for $60!?".

Mario Party 8 - Wii

A fun family game for the Wii

Like every mario party, this one is very good. For awhile when they kept making mario parties, everyone was bored with them...but this mario party is much more fun than the 6th or 7th. The graphics are as you'd guess every mario party game would be. The graphics live up to the Wii. The gameplay is fun. Unlockable characters like Blooper, buy stuff from the bazaar, and use candies which are the new items. There is nothing to say about the sound. It's like every mario party game if you have played any other ones. The control for the Wii makes the gameplay suprisingly better. EX: to hit a dice block, flick the wiimote up like your jumping. Overall, the game is a lot better with friends. Playing by yourself is fun, but can be pretentous. Buy only if your into mario party games or if you have friends to play with you.

Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition - Wii

Blast 'em, Leon! Blast 'em!

Now, I've played the gamecube edition of RE4, but I wanted to see differences in RE4:WE. The graphics! WHOA! totally identical to the gmaecube and PS2's graphics. The control is better than PS2 and Gamecube editions because using the Wiimote to blast zombie's heads off is a lot more fun. Also, in the Wii version, the pointer turns red it's on an enemy, unlike past editions. As for the sound, it's the same too. Every gamer should have this game in their collection. A timeless classic that will always be remembered. NOW BRING ON RE5!

Halo - PC

I liked it A lot better than the Xbox version

Graphics: 4.00 The graphics were good, they are like the Xbox version. Gameplay: 5.00 The gameplay, as always with Halo, is very good. All the levels from the Xbox version, and your choice if you want to play Legendary. Multiplayer: 5.00 The multiplayer is free, no need for a Live subscription. Play online, by direct IP, or LAN server. Replay value: 5.00 You will wanna keep going online over, and over again. Very addictive. Controls: 4.75 The controls are much better than the Xbox version in my opinion. Use W,A,S,D to move. Tab to swich weapons. Q to throw a grenade. R to reload, and F to hit with gun. Overall: 4.75 A VERY enjoyable game. I enjoyed the Xbox version, but this is much better. Also, I recommend you have a pretty fast video card for this game.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories - GBA

KH fans gotta buy this one!

Graphics: 4.00 The graphics, if you've seen the screens, are clearly not up to KH par, but give the game a break, it's on the GBA. It's not the best graphics you'll see for the GBA, but it'll suffice. Gameplay: 4.60 The gameplay is not intense like KH 2, but it's a little better in my opinion. You use the keyblade tp battle, and you have cards you use. EX: An opponent has a card with the #4, if you have a card # higher, you can attack...if it's lower you can't attack. If it's the same, both of you get a "Card Break". Storyline: 4.75 As always, people expect great storylines for the KH games, and boy does this one deliver. You start in Caste Oblivion, and when you reach the stairs, you get to choose from 5 worlds. Then when you beat that world, you choose another, and another, and so on. It sounds repetitive, but you can be on one world for 5 minutes, and the next for 2 hours. Replay Value: 4.00 You will eventually beat the game, it's not one of those games that sit around gathering dust. I have beaten it 2 times and I pla it every 2 or 3 days. You will put it down, but you'll come back. Overall: 4.25 The game, overall, is good. It's not better than KH 2 or 1, but it manages. If this game were a PS2 game, MUCH more people would appreciate it...mainly because it wouldn't be 2D.
