SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation - PS3

I love the controls and once you have them down, you feel like you are in full control of an efficient soldier. Even if he can't run w/ night vision on, and that that night vision actually hinders your ability to see when you are not in a pitch black area. But adjusting brightness and using the goggles carefully will help when you can't see anything.. The maps are huge and detailed though you the player do not get access to a full view of the map unless you have the "gaming guide book." You have to memorize the maps, which isn't too hard to do if you've played the game already, but takes a while to get used to but adds to the realism of the game. The playing community is huge and loyal and it is a heck of a good time to be online with this when you got a good team going at it. There is no single player campaign. The tournament feature is now operational but not fully it seems.

So I bought Warhawk when it came out last November and for the first month got owned in every possible way. I have since learned how to operate this game and it is a blast to play. Huge maps with air and ground combat. 1/2 hour games which is nice, but not when you are always on the loosing team. There are some tough players in this game, so heads up. I like the scenery but more detail for the graphics would have been supreme. The 3 booster packs add awesome gameplay elements, recommend it.
