Dynasty Warriors 5 Xtreme Legends - PS2

square, triangle, circle!

There are two types of people in this world, those who button mash, and those who don't. I am one of those gifted with the power to beat my enemy to a pulp in less than 3 seconds. Yeah, well if you are a DW fan, then you have to pick this up. One of the best games in the series, it gives you the new feature "dynasty mode" in which you work your way up from a low level soldier to full commanding general. Of course there's always "xtreme mode" which even though has a limited story, can provide enough for you to enjoy. This game contains a truly great story which in truth has no fiction. The characters might be a bit in the eccentric side, but thatonly makes the game exciting. So, if your a die-hard DW fan, give this a shot, best out right now.

Inuyasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask - PS2

Inuyasha review

This game is not only made for Inuyasha fans of the television series, but for those hardcore RPG fanatics. It delivers with an undenyingably awesome storyline, and possesses a traditional turn-based battle system. Also, the creator of inuyasha has incorporated 2 new characters into the series. Not that many side quests, but enough to keep you entertained. Thoughit doesnt bring much of anything new to the table, what it lacks in variety it makes up with the dramatic storyline. The worst part about this game is that the graphics look like its for the original playstation....other than that I enjoyed this game and any Inuyasha fans should be sure to add it to their collection.

Kingdom Hearts - PS2

Dive into...the heart

This game is an RPG masterpiece....not only does it deliver action-packed fights, but it gives an intriguing storyline to keep you hooked. At first....you might be disappointed that it's a disney game, but if you are a true gamer, then you know never to judge a book by it's cover. The mystery behind "the door" is never quite clear, as every time you get close to the truth, something interrupts you....Having a sword is not quite enough though, as a traditional RPG would have, you get spells along with a variety of allies to help you in your quest to find your friends. The "summoning" ability gives you the upper hand when you are in a pinch, thus aiding you at the sacrifice of your allies. The best part o all is that you dont take turns, but this might also leave you in a bind when you are trying to do so much at once. No worries KH fans...this is not the last of the series, and you can expect more from this series, as it has gained a lot of reputation through its combination of FF characters mixed with disney characters. Walt Disney and SquareEnix would be proud...

The Sims 2 - PS2

Sinful fun

A lot of people think of this game as bad, some ofmy friends go to the point of calling it perverted. They are wrong, it's really what kind of gamer you are that makes this game what it is. Are a cook? Increase your cooking skill. Have a bit of creativity do ya? take time to paint something. Trouble lifting your couch? Work out. Have a fascination with the MTV show "The Real World?"...ok that may be stretching it, but don't become limited to your self-improvement methods. There are tons of friends to be made in this game, and tons of items to help you increase your skills. The reason I love this game is because the option of starting a life of which you may never have, which when you think about it, is really the point of gaming. from the aforementioned statement ou can't ignore the fact that this is a game, and might suck up more than a few hours of your life. Expansion packs are always being brought to the table, so you don't have to worry too much about innovation. Here are a few I thought would be helpful...and funny. your child misbehaving=spanking your neighbor has the music going all night= you cut out the power supply its raining= wet clothes= washer play the kids in school=get good or bad grades wife is naggin=...ahem playing a game and lose= you break it your nemesis makes food for you= spit option your momma...., yeah I know you were expecting one for that.......lol your kids lifestyle/career choice= influence or encourage your kid throws a partyw/o your consent= end him to..."THE ROOM" Your kid acts spoiled= grounded The parent ground you=sneak out teenager=going on dates crashes car=driving school driving option=you control it cars=customize your whip room=customize through the age=teeneger=kid=adult fire alert=more available items and fire code less strict hackers="virtual itch slap" option naming=JET THATS RIGHT! This game is sinful fun solely for the fact that you can do just about anything and learn new things that you might not had otherwise. It might even help you in real life. Giving you ideas and if you are observant, sources to acquaire them from just by playing. Who knows...maybe you'll improve on your social life just by listening to the conversations sims have...even though you can't understand them....

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 - PS2

Non-stop fun

This is a fantastic game,it not only improves every time, but it keeps it's originality, which some sequels lose. Giving the player more freedom in story mode, is just one of the pleasures you will enjoy while playing this game. It retains it's original format of battle, but it gives you more characters and skills, having you differ from a defensive fighter, blaster, or phyical all out fighter. Teleportation is now available and it let's you dodge attacks from your enemy.As well as some good ol' fashioned skills that the die-hard fans will enjoy. The story goes from the sayain saga all the way to the GT saga....get a buddy and emerse yourself in the fun that is DBZ.
