The worst Tales game I've played.

I've played 4 TALES games counting this one. TALES of Symphonia, Legendia, Abyss and now Vesperia. By far Vesperia is the worst Tales game I've played. There are many things I didn't like about the game.

1. The graphics for this game weren't very good. I expect more in this day and age of game systems and games. It looked like games from the 90s, which isn't bad in it's self. But it's 2008 going on 09 so I expect more visually. If I want that kind of graphics I'll go back and play the old games.

2. The story wasn't captivating. It just didn't keep me intrested in the game. I know they used the enviromental theme for the game. They could have done a much better job with the theme and the story. If you want a great game that tackles that theme get Final Fantasy VII. I had to try real hard to get through the game.

3. The characters were terrible. I wasn't intrested or carred about any of them. Yuri was unintresting and came off as a cold hearted bastered, not good for the lead character of a RPG. Estelle was just boring and I didn't care about her story. Karol and Rita just didn't add anything to the game. Raven started out well in the game and I did like him. I wanted him to stay dead, it was just a great ending for his characted, but now they decided to bring him back to life, what a rip.

The only characters I did like were Judith. I thought Judith and Yuri would get together, they were a much better mach than Yuri and Estelle, and I think it would have made Yuri more intresting, but the creators didn't take the game in that direction. I also liked Repede, he was just a fun character and they way he interacted with the other characters. My favorite character in the game was a minor character and turns out to be on of the bad guys. Yes it's Duke. I really like his story and character. At the end of the game I actually wanted him to win some how, even though I knew it wasn't possible.

4. The music was bad, it just add anything to the game.

5. The ending was just terrible and a total let down. It wasn't worth the money or time I spent on the game.

I am really disappointed with Namco/Bandai. I have really liked the TALES games until this one. It's just really sad.

Better than the first, but still a let down.

Where to begin, lets do the bad first.

Was Gears of War better than the first ...yes, but not by much. The story expanded a little but not much. The overall story with the in fighting with the Locust was done very badly. Also the story about the Abandoned Research Lab led no where and was pretty pointless, except a little about Gears of War 3 which I'm sure will be coming out in a couple of years. Also the climax of the game was anti-climatic. The game was a little easy and short for me.

Now I don't want you to think I hated the game. No I really liked it. First the graphics were excellent. The game play was also great. I like how you have to think in battle or you'll die. The story about Dominic's wife Maria was well done and was the only story in the game I really paid attention to. I also like how Marcus's character has grown and how he has grown close to Anya. The rest of the characters were great also from Cole to Carmine. The last thing was the ending which I did love and after the credits you also get another hit of Gears of War 3.

Overall Gears of War 2 is a very good if not great game, but it lacks depth to be a excellent or a classic game on the level of Metal Gear Solid games, Fallout 3, Mass Effect and others on that level. Still this game is worth playing, just don't be surprised if you'll a little let down after it's over.

My number 10 in my top 10 games of all time.

As I stated above GTA IV has made it into my top 10 games of all time.

Let me begin by first saying I've never once played any of the GTA games before and didn't have any desire to. What got me to buy the game was me trading in to bad games in Lost Planet and Enchanted Arms. I decided to take a chance on GTA IV, and I am glad I did.

Let me go over all the reasons why I loved this game. First is the story which truly surprised me. It's captivating, drawing you in with the great story of a immigrant coming to America looking for revenge. The characters were great and truly life like. Also I liked how I as a player could control many of the small and one or two big decisions of the game. The second thing was the game play which took a little getting used to but was amazing. The third thing was all the extral things you could do. From just going around blowing things up and trying to get away from the cops to trying to do all the stunts in the game.

I only have to small problems with the game. First and the biggest was the saving. Once a mission started you couldn't save. So if it's a really long mission and you just about completed it and you die you have to start from the beginning which pissed me off a couple of times. The second was the slow load times, but like I said these are small problems.

GTA IV is a classic game in my book, one of the best I've played.

A great game, but not excellent or a classic.

A very good game, but not a classic like many make it out to be.

First the things I liked. The amazing graphics that really brought the game to life. Second was the game play which did take a little while to get used to but was still great.

Now on to the things I had problems with. First it was a little easy for me. Even on the difficult modes. Then the length of the game wasn't very long. I spent about 10 hrs playing the game, and there is now real replay value with this game like GTA IV and Mass Effect. Once I beat it, I just didn't feel like playing it again. The third thing was the story and the lack of depth it had. It was ok but it really didn't add anything to the game.

The first good RPG for the X-BOX 360.

Lost Odyssey was created by some of the people behind the Final Fantasy series, and you can tell right away. In fact this is how FF 12 should have been like in stead of the average game that was given to use.

There are many things to like about Lost Odyssey. First the unique premise. A Immortal whose lived a thousand years, but wakes up with no memory, and as the journey continues you slowly remember. The second thing was the difficulty of the game. I haven't played a really hard RPG in years, I enjoyed it even when it frustrated me because I kept dying, it make you enjoy the game even more when you beat the game. Third the dream sequences were good also, and emotional. Finally the music was great, I really enjoyed it.

Now on to the reasons why I only gave it a 4 stars. Some of the reasons are the same as why I liked the game. First the story was good, but takes way to long to get going. Second the dream sequences went on forever, and got tiring. Finally the load times in the game were to long and annoying. This is supposed to be a 360 game right. The load time shouldn't take to long.

Overall Lost Odyssey is a very good game, though not great. This game isn't for everyone, just RPG fans.
