ESPN College Hoops 2K5 - PS2

Best College Basketball Game Ever!

GRAPHICS-Thisis simply the best looking college game I've ever seen. The players even sort of look like who they are supposed to be. Example,J.J. Red!ck has the cut off undershirt that he wears every game and the player model resembles him quite a bit. CONTROLS-If you own or have played NBA 2k5, which I own, the controls will be pretty easy to get used to. There are little differences between the two games' controls. GAMEPLAY-The gameplay of CH 2k5 is fantastic. It resembles college basketball more than any other game I've seen. J.J. Red!ck can knock down some threes if he gets heated up and can start a trademark scoring run for the Duke Blue Devils. Yes, I love the Blue Devils! FREETHROW SHOOTING-The free throw routine is unlike any other basketball game. It is not even close to NBA 2k5's style of foul shooting, which I absolutely HATED! This is all about timing. Hold in the X button and the player starts his motion, let go at just the right moment and you will see the ball sail through the net. LEGACY MODE-CH 2k5's Legacy mode is one of the best I've seen. You get to recruit some junior college or high school prospects and coach how you want. The only thing I don't care for is being a new coach. You can probably change his name and things, but I just went with who they gave me. SOUND-The announcers in the game tend to get a litlle mixed up and slow at times, but I don't find it much of a problem. The soundtrack is pretty good, but I haven't listened to much of it, yet. OVERALL-Again, this is the best college b-ball game I have ever played. . you should really put some thought into getting this game. If you can't stand looking at SG #4 for J.J. Red!ck, changing names is a breeze. Just edit the player's name, type in the first few letters of the player's name, then pick from the list of names (I was pretty shocked when I could find Shavlik for Shavlik Randolph on the list so you should find just about anyone's name). The announcers even pronounce the player's name!

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - PS2

Can you say best game ever?

First off, don't listen to the Halo fanboys. They just want Halo to be better than GTA:SA, but it's not. With that said, on to my review. . . The story is so in-depth, you won't believe it. You can get a new haircut, eat at some fast-food places, bet on pool at a bar, bet on horse races, play video games in the video game, pimp your ride, play some hoops, go to school (driving, flying, etc.), swim, take your girlfriend out for a bite to eat (which may lead to some "coffee"), ride a BMX, go work out at the local gym, go parachuting off some buildings. . . and yes, there is so much more! You could have fun with this game without doing the missions! But, of course, to unlock some things, you will have to complete some missions, but go with me here. . . I know people hate the graphics in the game, but they really aren't too bad. If you don't have this game, get it. If you're getting it for Christmas, hope the next 7 days will go faster. If you don't plan on getting it, you don't know what you're missing. Like I said before, don't listen to those Halo fanboys, they just want to make you think Halo is better, but it's not. YOU MUST GET THIS GAME!!

ESPN NBA 2K5 - PS2

Wow, this is one hell of a good game!

This game's graphics are sweet and it has gameplay to go with it! The 24/7 mode is sweet. The Association is amazing. The game is just awesome and with a $20 price tag, you shouldn't pass this up.

Tony Hawk's Underground 2 - PS2

Not as good as THUG, but still awesome

THUG 2 is not disappointing, yet it didn't meet my expectations. THUG was so cool, I figured this one would be better. The pranks are cool and the storyline is cool, but I was hoping for a little more. This game is still worth the money and if you liked any of it's predecessors, you should definately pick it up.---Dubz

Madden NFL 2005 - PS2

Sweet!!!

Wow, Madden did it again. First off, this game does lag a little bit sometimes, but that's not enough to not get it. The Hit Stick is sweet. Late in the game, I picked one off and was almost gonna run it back for a TD, but my brother used the Hit Stick and lit me up and made me fumble and he got it back. He went on to win :'( Also, I was playing the Vikings and the defensive controls helped out a ton on covering Randy Moss. I double teamed him pretty much the whole game and I did shut him down. I know that ESPN might have better graphics (although Madden's weren't too dissapointing...), but Madden definately has better gameplay and controls. '05 takes a bit to get used to, but when you learn how to use the Hit Stick and the new defensive controls, you'll see that Madden still owns the market. I highly recomend buying Madden 2005. Maybe the Collector's Edition doesn't interest you, but you should still get the regular version. ESPN doesn't have the Hit Stick or the defensive controls, just better graphics and first- person mode. Wow. Madden just keeps getting better and not dissapointing me......
