All-Star Baseball 2005 - PS2

Pros Cons
Innovative concepts Braindead computer AI
Amazing visuals It's boooring
  Repetitive gameplay
Just Bad!

I love most all sports games, and i have to tell you this game was not very good at all. It was impossible to hit any pitch over 90 mph lol, this game had some neat features like the ability to play a sandlot game with position players that could pitch and a card system like the Madden franchise, all that is great but i wanted a baseball game that stayed true to the sport and this game had all the looks, but lacked in everything else, i have to say "Never Buy This Game!"

Final Fantasy XII - PS2

Pros Cons
Addictive gameplay Repetitive gameplay
Amazing visuals
Just plain fun
Awesome and Innovative

This game was a very fun. After the disappointment from FF X-2 (I did not play XI), I was not expecting to much, but this game exceeded my expectations. The use of a battle system similar to the of MMORPGs in a one player console RPG was fantastic. The Gambit AI system to control party members came of as one of the most innovative systems I've encountered. The world was giant, the monsters were creative, and the storyline was engaging. The skill grid was an great adaptation of FFX's sphere grid, allowing for great overlaps and amazing specialization. It was fun, exciting, and expansive, and I would suggest it to anyone.

Fable: The Lost Chapters - PC

Pros Cons
Loads of content Poor storytelling
Just plain fun
An excelent and expansive game

This game was the best I had played in a long while. The free form character development was amazing, allowing options in missions, specialties, weapons, and just about everything in the game. The options seemed to be endless, making it one of the most highly re-playable games I have ever played. While the story line did not play a main focal role, it was still rather original and entertaining. Altogether it was a great game, and some of the most fun I've had with a game.

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$ - GameCube

Pros Cons
Just plain fun Repetitive gameplay
Fantastic multiplayer
Innovative concepts
Fun but erratic

This is a very fun game for those who like fast-paced action with very little substance. While the games are always funny and entertaining, the game doesn't really have a focus. i guess this is the point, though. it's definitely a game that can get you and your friends through a few boring hours, but beyond that, its hard for me to want to keep playing. however, i do think the game is really innovative in that it builds on the "mini game" concept realized in mario party and expands on it. My only complaint is the repetitive nature of the mini games, and they they are repeated throughout gameplay. other than that, a great, fun title!

Star Fox Adventures - GameCube

Pros Cons
Addictive gameplay Doesn't live up to expectations
Just plain fun
Engaging story
Good, but different

This was a great game for those who like the adventure genre. it's definitely different from the other star fox games, though. The biggest difference would be the departure from flying to walking; very little time is spent in Fox's ship. It's used mainly as a transportation device rather than an integral part of the gameplay. However, this doesn't detract very much from the overall impact of the game. the storyline is interesting, if a little lacking at times, and the worlds are really visually appealing. the music is pretty good, too, just a little soft lol. Fox's weapons were for me one of the better parts of this game, and the laser upgrades and shops were a really cool element. If you're looking for the familiar star fox game, or something like star fox 64, you won't find it here. But if you want fleshed out characterization, a good story, and fun gameplay, this is a very good option.
