Golden Sun: The Lost Age - GBA

And so the adventure continues...

This is the best game for the GBA right now and one of the best RPG's I've ever seen. Just like the first GS this one rocks. The graphics are beautiful, the music is hype, the battle scenes are incredible, the controls are great and the story will keep you glued to your GBA for hours. Overall, this game pushes the GBA to its limits just like the first installment and they did a great job and then some. Perfect score baby.

What Happened?

This game isn't that bad. But it isn't all that good either. I was expecting this game to be great. But it's not. The sound is horrible, the controls are kinda off, the game is way too short and you can't select all of the characters. I was so mad when I found out that I couldn't play as Joe. On a plus side, the graphics are nice and some of the sound effects are proper, but that's about it. I think that this would have been better if it were developed more thoughly.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 - GBA

This Is The Real Deal

After hearing about all the hype about this game, it has finally presented itself. I am a big Street Fighter fan so naturally I purchased it on the first day it came out. Instantly I saw that this game looked nice. The graphics show the true beauty of the GBA. Every character from the original SFA 3 game for the Playstation is here; as well as some new characters never seen in a SFA series before. The character endings are whack and the AI can be cheap (of course), but playing it is a dream. The music is pretty good and the sound effects are excellent. You'll get accustomed to the controls once you play it for a while. The only thing that is missing from this game is a few voice samples such as Ryu's voice during his hurricane kick and the World Circuit Mode. All in all, this is a really nice recreation of this classic fighting game on the GBA.
