Superman Returns: The Videogame - Xbox 360

Great concept, bad representation.

I love sandbox games. I really do, I love the freedom and ability to make the game your own. I also love Superman. So when you throw the 2 together you get a great game? Well... not exactly. The concept for this game was great, but the final product was not. Flight mechanics- great. Fighting- mediocre. Super powers- decent. Overall- Fun.. for a bit. I think the 1 and only mistake that EA made with this game was... well.. themselves. EA should stick to sports games. If any company should of taken over this game it should of been Rockstar or Treyarch. They both have great experience with 'sandbox' games. But the game was still a blast for about 4 days. Flying is fun. Storyline... no.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Wii

Lay down arms to Sakurai

NOTE: This is an impression review. Based solely on my impression of what i've seen from this game so far. And what i've seen is amazing. Brawl is really looking to capture any escence that the first 2 didn't capture (as if that is possible). With an onslaught of new characters, environments, items, and things to do- this game is looking to be kick the hell out of the other fighting games this year. Go forward, Sakurai.

Spider-Man 3 - Xbox 360

Treyarch success!

I've always been a fan of the Spiderman games. From the original for the SNES. The PS1 versions, and all of the recent 'sandbox' titles. But with Spiderman 3- it all combines into a wonderfully fun game. What I like most of all is that they've combined all of the best elements of the previous games to advance the experience. They pulled the 'speed' button from Spiderman 2 (great innovation). They pulled the 'double jump' from Ultimate Spiderman. And they assembled the most versatile line-up of bosses from all of the games. The environment is as beautiful as it's ever been. Swinging feels as natural as could be. The wall-crawler looks great and reacts great to things that happen to him. I once web-zipped directly into a building and Spidey actually went splat! and fell down all 36 stories. However, a few things the game could of done better; the black suit controls. As much fun as it was to have the extra speed, power and rage of the black suit- it also became a problem when trying to focus on a certain enemy. But even so, the combat system flowed smoothly enough. Although short, and slightly flawed, it's still a blast to use your imagination and swing around hours after completing the game. Web in a copy. You shant be dissapointed.

Pokemon Sapphire Version - GBA

A ruby for a Ruby.

I remember the exact day I first got Pokemon Ruby. I walked from my house to a little local gamestore called, 'PressPlay'. As a few of you should know and recognize my name now, you might know that I have a little passion for Pokemon. So I was bit excited about buying the latest Pokemon game. Well long story short, Pokemon: Ruby is easily the greatest since the original. It has a far more grandoise feeling to it. It draws you in with it's pretty colors, cool pokemon and epic journey. There's just so much more to do, side-quests and mini-games, and such. The region of Hoenn brings you back to those days of Kanto. It made me as excited for a Pokemon game as i've been since Yellow.

Assassin's Creed - Xbox 360

A considerable Assassin

From everything i've read, watched, and heard from this game; Ubisoft Montreal has another masterpiece on the verge. I've never been exactly partial the Rainbow Six games, but anyone who has played the Prince of Persia games should know what Ubisoft is cabable of. All the screens and in-game videos are testing my patience skills. So far- Assassin's Creed, 2,816 - BadEye's Patience Level- 0.
