Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - PS3

Best FPS in Years

This is easily the best fps i've played in years. sure, halo has gotten all the publicity these days, primarily because it is the most popular, but CoD4's depth is unmatched. The graphics are gorgeous, the sound is intense, the conrols are tight, and the multiplayer is exceptional. I haven't played such a good FPS since the days of perfect dark.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - PS3

Gamepros have no clue

this game is extremely underrated by the gamepro staff. it is the best game i've played on the ps3, and it is superior to its 360 counterpart in every way. the story is great, the action is intense, the graphics are outstanding, the score is superb, and it has exceptional replay value.

God of War 2 - PS2

4.75 for sound?

I don't see how this game got a 4.75 for sound. The score is ehilirating, and fits and blends perfectly with the in-game action. The voice actors are superb, and go perfectly with their characters. They got Perseus from "Clash of the Titans" for hell's sake. Michael Clark Duncan as Atlas? What more could you want? And Gaia is majestic as usual. The gameplay is as good, if not better than the first game, and the story is right up there as well. The extras are worth acquiring. Challenge of the Titans is challenging, but when you conquer it you will feel a sense of accomplishment. Overall, I'd say it is definetly the best game for the ps2 this year, and one of the greatest of all time. Now let's just get these guys working on GoW3 for the ps3.
