Gears of War once again proves to be completely bad@ss. Visuals are good, multiplayer is great, has lots of dlc and different game mode to keep you playing forever, it's fun as hell with great controls and gameplay throughout, and campaign and boss fights are crazy (in a good way) - no berserkers though :(
Overall it's awesome. But duh, of course it is. It is Gears of F**cking War. - wuff

suggestion... if you cant take away the host advantage.. make all of the non-host players have the same power in their weapons as the host does....

I have played through the first two Chapters and then started to play Horde mode and haven't played through the whole campaign yet because Horde is so addictive. I don't like having to start over if you fail a wave they should fix it to allow you to redo the wave you failed. I bought KiLLZone 2 and think Gears of War 2 is more fun to play. The fact that you can hold 3 weapons in Gears is better than only being able to hold 2 weapons as is the case in KillZone 2, with the pistol being a weapon that cannot be switched out for something else.

i give it 5/5 it is a Great game so you should buy it now!This game is also a very violent game plus it has bad words so this is not a kids game

The first Gears of War had flaws, but the intense and reallistic firefights made it stand out from games like halo. the graphics are good .This game has some epic moments like fighting brumaks and reavers (the infamous flying creatures from the first gears of war) who now touchdown on the battlefield similar to the nazgul from lord of the rings, the game's length is better opposed to the first. the story is much better giving the player a reason to care about the characters and the back story.
Gears of war 2's main flaw is the boss battles there too easy and straightforward. the final showdown with Skorge should have been more inventive and challenging.
Gears of war 2 is a top notch shooter ,although the suspense and challenging boss battles like the first gears has been water down, it will still be a enjoyable experience.
