Saints Row to has grown from the first one, better graphics and storyline, the game opens and ends with very intense action, has lots of cheats but whats the fun in that? Very nicly made achievement in all range of difficulty. Reminds me of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas a littile bit. 4 * from me.

If you don't own this game, you should. Quite simply, I've played A LOT of top-tier games and this is quite literally one of the most fun games I've ever played, and that's saying something. It's definitely better than Grand Theft Auto 4 (if you whine at me about graphics, physics or Roman in the comments I will personally kill you). It's not too serious and you aren't a hardcore cop killing rapist. This game is FUN, not realistic. To quote game review show Zero Punctuation, if you give a player a gun, he will shoot an old lady. If you give him a car, he will run over an old lady. If you give him aircraft, he will fly high and plummet out onto an old lady. GTA 4 lets you drive carefully around the city taking your cousin on remarkably homosexual dinner dates. Let the player play, for Christ's sake! If you like a game that is fun and has an open, fun world the likes of GTA San Andreas only better in every conceivable way, buy this game. If you don't, buy this game anyway. No matter what the circumstances, buy this game. NOW. Turn off the computer, go outside with your wallet or Mom, go to the store and buy this freaking awesome game. Do it. Now.

saints row 2 is one of the best shooting games that came out this year and i can't wait until saints row 3 come out on xbox 360

SR2 is a great game and is a blast to play, but it doesnt deliver all that it should have. Blowing up cars and shooting the hell out of everything is fun, but it wears out quick and there isnt that much new to the series. On top of everything there is still the same visual bugs that plagued the original Saints Row.

woah....... this game was amazing it blew me away. when people said it was better then GTA 4 i didnt believe them. but i was clearly wrong this game is more free to do whtever u want u can do all the same things as GTA like steal cars and shoot cops whtever but in Saints Row 2 u can rob stores fight gangs fly planes. My point is u can do alot of stuff Theres one thing for sure the Saints are back and kicking butt

When the first Saints Row was released, people thought it could very well be a GTA killer. The debut had better graphics and physics than San Andreas and was a blast to play. However, I still felt like the developers didn't do enough to seperate Saints Row from the Grand Theft Auto franchise it wished to compete against. After the release of GTA IV, which pushed the envelope of what was thought possible in a sandbox game, I wondered how Saints Row 2 would stack up. Well in short, it doesn't. It's a fun game don't get me wrong, but to me GTA IV was a huge leap forward and Saints Row 2 is a couple of steps backward. It took me a while to warm to the game, since GTA spoiled me with its kickass gameplay. Once I appreciated ST 2 for what it was, I became addicted to its over the top antics. The highlight of this title would have to be the activities. My personal favs are Septic Avenger, Insurance Fraud, and the Cops spoof, Fuzz. The missions themselves are nothing special, and neither is the story and the former lacks variety. I know it's not fair to compare GTA to Saints Row, as Saints has some nice features that the former lacks. The ability to create your own character is always nice, plus it has zombies and zombies are always awesome. Long story short: if you're looking for a GTA killer, you won't find it here, but it's a nice tie over until GTA V eventually comes out.
