The original put in a different box. But it's still as good.

This game has probably been my most wanted game since I purchased Call of Duty 4. Sadly, I was GREATLY disappointed to find it was the original put in a new box. Graphics (3.5/5): The graphics are no better than the original's. But they're still pretty good. The character faces could of used a more polish, and then again, the entire game could of used a bit more polish, but nonetheless, it's still good. Sound (4.5/5): The sound is DEFINITILY improved since the last game. I mean....A LOT. The voice acting is TERRIFIC, especially with the terrorists. I caught myself laughing sometimes at their humorous conversations that never seem to be the same. The only flaw I could find is that sometime, even if the guy is shooting right next to you, it sounds muffled and almost as though it's in a different room, but GREAT job with improving th sounds, Ubi. Game play / Storyline (3.5/5): The game play is still as great as the original. The new sprint feature brings things up to par with many of the FPSs dominating the market. The new guns are pretty sweet. As for the storyline, I couldn't really follow it that much. Maybe I was just paying to much attention to the game itself. That's how good the gameplay is. The guns feel pretty solid and great. The whole bullet penetration thing is really cool and it's a lot better than CoD4's penetration system. The enemy intelligence has been GREATLY improved and they actually use some items that they didn't in the previous game, which makes it more challenging, in a good way. Of course, with every game, you AI squadmates have their own issues, whether it be shooting at a wall while trying to kill an enemy or just running out into gunfire, which does get pretty annoying after awhile. Lastability (4.5/5): The multiplayer is probably one of the strongest points of this game. With a few new game modes and maps, it has a pretty strong lastability. Sadly, PS3 owners have been having connection issues, which will HOPEFULLY be fixed VERY VERY soon. You can now send messages to your friends and the online interface has been revamped. Final Comment: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 could pass off as the original with it's somewhat dated graphics and overall style, but keep in mind, the original was freaking amazing. With some new features, extremely solid gameplay and multiplayer, and some new guns, it shouldn't be too much of a pain to pick up this game and give it a try. Trust me, you won't regret. You'll LOVE this game, especially if you're new the the Rainbow Six series. It's probably one of the greatest games you'll buy for the PS3. A 3.75 out of 5.

viva Las Vegas

This really is one of the best shooters ever. The only down side is "back in Vegas", but even that is not really a downer. The co-op online is a great feature, and the graphics are even more beautiful than the last time. Character customization is fun and gives it a more personal touch. Great game hands down...

Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Vegas 2

Overall Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is a fun game but it contains a few major flaws. first online versus battles are nearly impossible to get into and once you do get into one youd be lucky to play a full game. Another flaw the game contains is coop story if you have friends who want to play the game with you they cant all play. If you have more than two players in a coop game they will just get booted 5 minutes into a game. But even though it contains so many flaws its still a fun game to play. You can get a few freinds and play a pretty entertaining game Terrorist Hunt. The Weapon selection is pretty good but alot of the assault rifles and submachine guns pull to the left or the right. no one gun is all acurate they all have their flaws. it can be a little annoying but it adds to the realism. Ranking up can be a tedious affair once youve unlocked all the weapons and you have no experience boosts left it seems like an eternity till you rank up again. Reaching the final Elite rank seems an impossible feat unless you play all day and night for months. Customization is pretty satisfying choosing different camo colors, armors, and various clothes can be a good way to set yourself apart from other gamers. Putting weapons in your different classes [Demo,Assault,etc..> can be a bit annoying. When you have a sniper rifle equipped you only have your pistol as a secondary weapon so if someone rushes up on you your pretty much done for. The story is pretty satisfying not too long not too short the enemies arent too dumb they use some pretty good tactics in trying to kill you. All in all Rainbow Six Vegas two is fun game thats why I give it a 3.75.

rainbow 6 vegas 2 sucks balls

I can see why ubisoft is not relying heavily on shooters anymore look at the crap they gave us! Don't get me wrong, I loved the first rainbow 6 vegas, the only reason I bought this game is for the multiplayer!! turns out I can't even get an online match going without getting "this match is no longer available" about 2 minutes into the game. I don't think this deserves anything more than a 2.0 because the storyline sucked even though the cover-and-shoot tactics are fun. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE!!!!!
