there's one thing i didn't mention there are a few etchy missions that can get pretty tough. such as the "open conspiracy" mission.

Prototype is an "ok" game the story is terrible with huge gaps and holes that connect the whole story line the graphics are pretty cool. the gliding and flying is pretty hard to control other than that its a great game.

For some reason, he goverment doesn't suspect that a superhuman that they tortured won't come back and bite them in the butt.

Prototype was a game I had my eyes on since the very beginning. I had marked a different date each time the game was put back. What I loved about the game was the engaging gameplay and a variety of powers. I couldn't stop playing once I had started. The parkour was an amazing asset to the experience. All the powers were fantastic, exept the whipfist is way overpowered and turned each boss battle of sprint in a circle, jump, whipfist. Repeat, repeat, repeat, etc etc etc.

In the end, about 3/4 of the wait was worth it. The game was far to short, the side missions were absolutely pointless, the boss battles were mediocre, hijacking a tank has no purpose, characters aside from Alex weren't really that important (Where the hell did Dana go?), and the hints were boring to find.

I'm not saying I didn't like prototype. The gore was fantastic. Most of the powers were useful, parkour is great, open world free running never get's boring, and Alex Mercer is very very cool.

Please make a sequel or DLC. This game was so much fun, and I'm hungry for some more crazy super power action. Or a prequel. Ohhh. Play as Elizebeth Greene in Hope. Or maybe as a hunter. Or a new character. I loved virtual Manhattan, but is it possible to make the next one in San Francisco or L.A.? Also, if you do make a sequal, could you include more powers? And make it so we can have to offensive powers at once (Blade and claws would be so awesome).

I think it's an incredible game, and totally lived up to my expectations. My only complaints would be that the graphics are sub-par, and the in-game type (hints, objectives, subtitles) is so small it's almost unreadable.

This game totally lives up to expectations, its bloody and satisfying. It has everything imaginable; vehicles, guns, powers, etc. It is defintely worth the money and i highly reccomend this game for ps3, it shines on that console. I know what ur thinking about infamous, but they are both unique and incompareable.

Prototype is an unbelievable, dystroy-anything game. Just think Die Hard, The Incredible Hulk, and that guy who can turn into anything from Terminator all fused into a game. With amazing weaponry and abilities in your arsenal, power is at you're fingertips. Not only can you tear apart anything that you touch, but you can use weapons dropped by the military and hijack their vehicles. If you want a game that makes you feel like you are an indistructable killing machine, this is the game for you.

There are only a couple of flaws in this game though. The graphics are not really up to par and the camera around the character is a little too close.

But these are only minor issues. This game is a must get and must be a part of your collection.

JESUS CHRIST!!! This is a game that makes me wanna say good bye to my friends and family and lock myself in a dark room with my Xbox and an HD TV. This game is so full of stuff to do i didn't know where to begin! From picking on the innocent soilders playing the "patsy" card or just free roaming i've not run out of stuff to do. This game is a buy with a great story line "if not a little cliche Amnisia lol" with great acting and visuals. Why i recall spider-man 3. Ever get bored pop that in and swing around the city for hours at a time marvaling and exploreing. This is one of those games that you can do that in. The powers are my favorite part as Darth Sidious once said "UNLIMITED POWER" that is how you feel in this game. Thank you for taking the time to read this if you did. Timsobe

Prototype looks like a pretty cool new experience on how you can take the form of people you kill.You play as a man who has super speed and strength.I've seen a little bit about the gameplay but it looks pretty impressive.But you are interested on a new gaming experience i would keep my eye out for this one.I gave it a 4.0 only because it isnt out yet and i havent played it.This is a preview score.
