It's the End of the WORLD!!!!

What would you do if your world was invaded by monsters that were bent on killing everything in the world? Well in this game you play a hero that you name and with your childhood friend you set off to destory the fearsome World Eaters. BStory/B The story line in this game has more twist and turns than you can handle. When you set out in the begining you may think this is just another save the world RPG with a few good laughs and maybe a twist at the end. Well after the first hour of playing this game you would find out that you are wrong. Each character in this game has a deep and sometimes dark background and you get the chance to explore each of there backgrounds fully. Almost no one is what he or she may seem and on top of that when you do find out what they are all about it may or may not change the story and what you already learned completely. This world is never what it seems to be. BGraphics/B With over the top special moves, many squads of of soilders being sent into battle, and lots of in game cut scenes what could possibly be wrong with the graphics right? Well it depends on who is playing the game. It is 2D sprites on a 2D background and the cut scenes are done the same way. The sprites a beautifully drawn and all of there special attacks look great but if you can't get over it being in 2D then this is not the game for you but if you can get over it or you like that kind of graphics then this is the game for you. BSound/B Well there is not really too much to say here. The sound effects are clean and crisp. The voice acting is very good and will have you rolling on the floor with laughter one second and crying the next. BControls/B Menus, menus, menus. Thats the game in a nutshell. It will take you about an hour or two to figure out what everthing does but it may just take a life time to master. The ingame help is good and you can also figure out everything buy just going to each option and playing around with it but if you want to make a squad that won't get creamed in the first couple of atacks in a battle then it is going to take a while. Let me break it down a little bit. The game is played on a map and each person on the map represents a squad of up to nine people. The leader you choice dictates what special moves you will be able to use and also your weakness. Like flying is weak to ranged weapons, magic user are weak to melee units, ect. This means you have to think through every thing you do when you create a new unit and between unit types, decors (which is like accesories), and gig edits (which are like items), it can take hours if you want to make lots of good aquads. BReplay/B It is a NIS game so ofcourse it has lots of replay value. With two story lines (the second becomes available after you beat the game the first time) and lots of extras to find you can spend 100+ on this game with ease. BOverall/B In conclusion this game is perfect for cutting yourself off from the real world, loading up on snacks, and just play and play and play until the world eaters come to eat our world. What more could you ask for in a game?
