I got this game and i thought it was going to be one of those games I would get bored of after 3 days. Well it wasn't like that. There are so many side missions you can do. There are 40 something regular missions too so this game will keep you occupied for at least 2 weeks. If you're a trophy hunter this game will keep you occupied for a month. This game has so many easy trophies. fd

Wow, as I sit here writing this review I realize how hard it is to not give off any of the storyline. Well, I'll try not to.
inFAMOUS is more than a game, it is an experiance, one to be enjoyed over and over again. With it's multiple endings, open world, and endless posibilities it is easily a contendor for game of the year. The voice acting is superb, and the story is epic, so I will be brief and give the general plot. Cole, the game's protagonist is a delivery boy, and one day the pckage that he is carrying blows up and destroys everything around him, and gives him super powers over electricity. He then meets Moya an FBI agent that will, (hopefully) help him in his adventure.
My only complaints would be the lack of a multiplayer. This game has tons of potential for multiplayer with it's 3 factions and heroes. There could be a capture the flag with the Ray Sphere, deathmatch etc. It could also use DLC to play as other characters on challenge maps and such.
inFAMOUS was over all a great game that lived up to it's potential, and went above and beyond expectations. I would spent the 60 dollars again anyday on this game.

inFamous is one of my favorite PS3 games ever. You might think wrong but i'll tell you why I like it. This game is very addicting to play and has loads of action! All of my favorite levles in that game is when your infamous. Why, because the levels are more diffuclt and that equals more fun and more power! Let me start off by saying this game deserves way more than its been selling in the past couple of months. This game is great and fun and at least should have a good 600000-1000000 sales by now.

Why do you ask? Well because this game is one of the best games to come out in the year 2009. This game has a story that will keep you into it and keep you playing. I wouldn't say its so addictive but you will play it many times after the first time you beat it no doubt. Its an open-world game, an action/adventure with shooter and RPG aspects to it. So this game is pretty much for anyone.

The trophies are fun to get. Not too hard, not too easy. Just right! All I can say is if you have a PS3 and you need a game to play, whether its until the holiday season, just want another game or you got the money to spare. Get this game!

infamous you play as cole a hardass bike messenger. the game starts as if it was a lovley day empire city and.........................................BOOOOM! half of the city blows up and you wake up and play from there but youhave lightning powers and that means time to kick some ass. you can climb all most any thing with a grib ll you have to do is press x button and you will jump and grab on to somthing it somtimes gets dum because if you want to jump of a buliding you will grab on its not a problem now the story kinda well..........not that caching to your eyes so the story not that good the gameplay awsome and overall its one ass kicking game go buy it!

alright game sorta like prototype but i definitely recommend this game. it is great because you can be evil or hero my (personal favorite is evil)

Ok, first off, inFAMOUS is, in my opinion, a game you should rent and not buy. It is fun for a while, but it definitely is not all its hyped up to be. The visuals are pretty good, but the story just flat out sucks, and the gameplay is amazingly repetitive.

That said, the game still was interesting enough to keep me playing for about a week. However, unless you really liked it and are planning to play it again being evil if you were good or good if you were evil, it has pretty much no replay value.
Being able to choose if you were going to be good or evil was actually pretty interesting in this game because it changed how people reacted to you, the color of your electricity powers, the powers you were able to get, and Cole's overall appearance. The game gets more interesting the farther you get into it, earning new powers and eventually being almost able to fly. So, try before you buy.

Infamous, what a great game. you play as a super hero or super villain your choice and suprisingly this makes a big difference to coles appearence to his powers and to his overall behaviour. As you progress through the story you earn new abilities as well as new enemies. But luckily you have a huge selection of electric attacks that will leave enemies devistated in your wake. The main story get's a little skimpy at times and the gameplay can somtimes feel repetetive in the way that makes you say "wait...didn't i do this already woah deja vu" but luckily you can change that. If theres a building that you don't like just knock it down, if theres an enemy that you don't like ah just electrify him in the face! I'm not going to ruin the end for you so you'll have to play it for yourself. But one thing's for sure, your not going to like the ending the twist is just so horrible it makes M. night shammalan feel good about himself. So your character Cole is just walking down the street when an explosion takes out a few city blocks including everyone on them, including you. And you survive the explosion and surprise surprise you have super power's. That's the beginning of your super charged journey. The graphics are awsome and polished, the audio is great and the overall gameplay experience is shall i say electric (sorry). So the game isn't quite what i'd call "remarkable" or "inovative" but the game promesis lot's to keep you busy. So go buy it if your in a destroy everything mood...or if you just wanna help some people out of a jam or put them into a jam remember it's your choice how you play the game, i took the evil path what will you do?

Infamous has proven itself as one of the best playstation exclusives since it's predecessor, Sly Cooper. The game shows that you can decide anything you want with your new found powers. Become the hero the failing city needs, or the villain to put it out of it's misery.

The game has great environmental graphics. The city is a sight to behold and crowds react to you by your karma level. Wether they take pictures of you if your a hero, or gang up on you if your infamous. The powers are amazing, ranging from electric bombs to unleashing a thunderstorm upon your enemies.

Unfortunately, Infamous does have its flaws. To roam around the city is great but having to keep tapping X to climb gets quite annoying. Also, enemy placement needs improvement because sometimes there are just to many at one time and seem to never run out of ammo for their weapons. These are just minor though. The biggest flaw of this game is it's story. Working long and hard and fighting through hordes of enemies that would just make you throw the controller at the t.v screen ends up to have the worst plot twist comparable to M. Night Shyamalan's stories.

But, Infamous is worth to be apart of your PS3 collection and deserves the honorary title of 5 stars.
