If you have never heard of Guitar Hero, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN, MAN? Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is no doubt, a great addition to Activision's hit Guitar Hero series. This game features many great rock songs from bands including Metallica, Slipknot and Dragonforce. The gameplay is super addictive and if you want to invite people over for a party or just to hang out, Guitar Hero is a great game to play. Everyone likes to show off with it by playing "Through the Fire and Flames" on Expert. And for all beginners, there are practice modes and tutorials in the Training menu. Everything in this game is just great! The guitar, the songs, EVERYTHING! Since the moment I bought this game, I knew it wouldn't be leaving my Playstation 3's disc drive for at least a month. Only one other Guitar Hero game stands in the way of this fantastic rhythm game, an even bette one, Guitar Hero: World Tour!

Guitar Hero?....

Pros Cons
Awesome audio Poor storytelling
Tight controls Doesn't live up to expectations
Fantastic multiplayer

I really had high hopes for this game, especially with it being on the PS3, little did i know what i was getting myself into. The game itself is pretty good, the set list was not that great but some songs are pretty good. The game still lags on a LCD tv even when it has a great response time, the guitars lag with interference, the PS3 version seems kind of left out when compared to the X360 version. I would buy it used so you don't spend $99 on something that is flawed.

Guitar Hero III

I believe that Guitar Hero 3 is a very fun and enjoyable game with tons of replay value. If you do not have this game then I suggest getting it right away. Not only are the songs pretty fun to play, but the graphics and sound are simply amazing. Using Guitar Hero's own grading system, I give it a 5/5 stars.

GH III

When the first GH came out, i thought it was amazing. Then GHII came out and I thought i couldnt be beat! But GHIII completely beat in terms of graphics, songs and online!!! Good job RedOctane

ABSOLUTE DISAPOINTMENT

For me guitar hero is a waste of time and money. Through the whole game you press 5 buttons, but in a different order. It is halfway fun for the first song, and then you get frustrated, and bored. This game gets old in 5 minutes, and even for those that like it, will play nonstop for days then not touch it again unless they have friends over. AND YOU KNOW ITS TRUE!!! For $100, espacially, you get a fun, then in a week, a dust collecting piece of crap. This game is only good for parties, and its still not fun at all.

Guitar hero 3

Activision and Neversoft/RedOctane join together once again to present to us Guitar hero 3. To start things off this game is amazing. Career path is ten times better in GH3 and has new songs and you can also download songs off of Xbox Live or Playstation online. You can also use your old guitar from GH2 and use it on GH3. This game is one to pick up and its definatly worth the price.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock

This installment of Guitar Hero turned out very amazing. The graphics are nice and this time around it looks like the vocalist is actually singing & the guitarists are actually playing. The venues look better than ever and to top it all off the roster of music is one that anyone will enjoy. From The Killers and Kaiser Chiefs all the way to Disturbed, Slipknot, and Metallica. Their is a great list of songs to choose from, not to mention the songs you can add-on from the Playstation Network. It's a very fun and entertaining game that will keep you glued to your couch for hours. 2 thumbs up!

Still Rockin \m/

Wow. Not only did they finally put Dragonforce in, but they also included my favorite song of all time (One)! The graphics are finally where they should be, and I love watching all of the characters on screen. The mo-capped drummer is one of my favorites. The game feels a little harder than the others, but it's just that much sweeter when you finally beat that song that's been mocking you the whole time. My main complaint is that there are only 2 legends of rock (unless I'm missing something... I haven't done co-op yet). I mean, it's in the title. "Legends of Rock." Where are they? The two included are amazing, but it's kind of a let down that there aren't more. The boss battles are really fun (even though the final one on expert is a little insane...), but again, I wish there were more. Oh well, at least you can take it online and match up with people all you want. If you liked the others, you should already own this. The new controller feels so much better, too. I don't know why, but it just feels right. And now I can finally play without a darn cord!

this is going to be fun

this game promises to be an instant classic, i mean just look at the success of the previous guitar hero games and you see that this will probably be one of the best. With names such as rolling stones, TD, and scorpions its going to rock
