2k sports vs EA sports!!

The All-pro football 2k8 is a great game, and before that SPANKED madden in graphics, gameplay, ect, in the espn 2k4,and 2k5 year!! But if they can make a NFL 2k8 or NFL 2k9 they can make alot of money with their outstanding graphics and now that the 360 and ps3 game systems had came out that gives them a chance to hit the market and make their money by spanking Madden for at least another 1-2 Yrs!! THEY DID BEAT EA SPORTS WITH NBA 2K AND BIOSHOCK!!

APF2K8

All Pro Football 2K8 marks the return of the long absent 2K sports franchise from the gridiron. People have been dying for 2K to make some kind of a return, but realized it would have to be without the NFL license. Die hard fans are gonna flock to this game(unless they have been brainwashed into joining the Maddenites). All Pro picks up where 2K5 left off. What people don't realize when they say that All Pro is just a rehash of 2K5, is that 2K5 was a game ahead of it's time. Great presentation and stunning graphics are what made 2K5 such a great football experience. Now with 2K8, those same qualities return for an even better experience. Sub par graphics? Sure the players without their helmets, look like they just came from "Oblivion", but have you ever went to and instant replay and zoomed all the way in and examined the player models? I don't think you can put anymore detail into the uniforms. Helmet scuffs and dirt stains make it even more realistic. Gameplay is as solid as ever. The new player animations are great and show you just how much effort they put into making the action on field look as good as it plays. The all new Field Pass is nice, but some of the lines these guys spit out are kinda cheesy. The halftime and post game shows are awesome. Dan Stevens and Peter Okeef make a comeback and even though the commentary is straight from 2K5, there are times where you'll hear something new out of the blue. Where this game lacks, and this is what the majority of the people are complaining about, are the game modes. Where, in APF2K8, there are only 2. Season and Online. No franchise here. Season is your basic 16 game format with a tournament playoff bracket system just like the NFL. I was really disappointed in the fact that they didn't really put much emphasis on the championship game. They treated it like it was any other game. You don't even get to see anyone celebrating at the end. I even like the logo that they made for the league. Where you will probably spend most of your time is online, which is by far the best component of the game. The leagues and tournaments are probably the best out there. That thrown in with the fact that Madden doesn't even have online leagues. All in all, APF2K8 is a solid game that die hard football fans can enjoy even without the NFL teams. If you can get past the fact that there is no franchise mode, it's really not that bad.

Pretty Much NFL 2K5

If you ever played any of the old 2k games thats pretty much what you are in for. The games uses the same engine but all the teams are custom made and they players are all Hall Of Fame players due to EA Sports taking the NFL exclusive rights. The gameplay is still pretty good but the graphics are cartoonish. It does do better than Madden in one way which is the online league because Maddens online mode isnt very deep. But all in all its an old game with a new face.

All Pro Blows

One of the worst games ever made. It fooled all of us into thinking we might have a choice against Madden, instead it came short. Great Graphics give Em two thumbs up.....should I tell you guys Microsoft owns them....I had that FEVER once. I sold mines for 30 bucks. Shoulda waited for Madden.

Not so typical sport game

The game offers a welcome change of pace from Madden and includes a fun fantasy twist: Because 2K sports couldn't license the modern NFL teams,it scooped up some intriguing Legendery NFL players, wich you can use to build you're own team of All-Starz.

ohh crap

i love this games controls an the detail on the faces are outragiously good at times but i found my self NFL deprived there was a sense of a false universe were teams like the las vegas rollers would be a acceptable name and well there fells like there's no style behind it. almost like madden is this games older and more popular looking and acting brother ice r though kept me entertained for about 3 days

awful

tried like heck to love this game..played it everyday for a week..i loved the concept and was hoping for find someone to scare madden into making a great game..im sure the madden people are LAUGHING at this game..the controls are soooo bad, have you tried picking the ball up off the ground?? darn near impossible, my guys would kick the ball rather than pick it up. when my opponent kicked off out of bounds.i had to start at that point..not the 40 per real football.. i tried and tried but i couldnt have fun at this very irritating game..
