This game is awesome. A stellar selection of songs plus beautiful graphics and some nice-looking costumes, characters, and guitars have come to rock our world on the Xbox 360. But the lack of coop play except for the career, plus the game's major focus on battling, seem a little stale before it's even out of the box. This is essentially the same game we've been playing since the first game came out, but just with a better song selection and flashier graphics. This is a good game, borderline great, but it just doesn't cross that line into stardom. This series may be like Axl Rose--it had its time, but others of its ilk have come to replace it with bigger, better, badder.

this game is imposibal not to love and its so addicting. for get about it u will be playing this game untill the day u die so once u play u dont stop playing hell i am playing the shit right now. so if u dont want to play one of the best games ever then dont your loss

Guitar Hero III gets a 4.5 out of 5 from me. The controls are excellent and utilize the guitar more than the controller. The play list rocks with stuff as far back as the 70's and an expansion pack with more songs came out soon after. What i do not like is the too easy medium and too hard, hard on some songs are easy on others not easy as if you use the controller than it gets confusing. all in all a good game. 4.5 of 5

this game is sweet. i love the playlist and the graphice are nice. it is the best one in the series.

Guitar Hero 3 is one of the funnest games I've played. The graphics are alot better than what they used to be. A new addition to the game is the boss battles they are fun but a little different. I think the new guitar is cool feels a lot better but the star power seems a bit touchy. Like I would not even lift the guitar up and it would activate. But other than that it is just as fun as the other ones but with more songs. It is much funner and intense online. One down side is there is no more multiplayer quickplay but it really doesn't matter to me cause you can just do the career mode over. I still can't wait to play Rock Band!

Wow, I haven't made a GP review in a while so here it goes :) If you have played Guitar Hero before than you must check GH3 out! GH3 is pretty much the same as the last 2 games (3 if you count Rocks the 80's) The graphics have improved a lot and older characters look brand new! GH3 has more modern songs and bands like Rise Against, Slipknot, Disturbed, and more. It features over 60 songs. The hardest song in the game is "Through the fire and flames" by Dragonforce. The new feature to GH3 is the boss battles, where you have to collect powerups and make the boss fail the song before you do. You can face Slash and other famous guitarists. (And even the devil) Another new feature is co-op career mode where you and a friend can beat all the songs together. You can buy GH3 for the Xbox360, Wii, PS3, and the PS2. Well, that's my short little review for GH3 Legends of Rock and I hope you enjoyed it!

Great game. more songs that i actually recognize than the second. not enough boss battles. Very hard.I know someone that beat Jordan on Expert and can barely beat Raining Blood and Through the fire and flames on HArd

This game is awesome. It's just fun to play your favorite songs on a little plastic guitar. It's the reason I start playing real guitar. The only thinging stopping me from giving this a perfect score is the lack of Pantera

OK, I am a Guitar Hero fan just like the rest. I rock Jordan on expert and have carpel tunnel from Guitar Hero 2. However, I was extremely disappointed with the set list from Guitar Hero 3. Pros: Yes, the game is a significant improvement in look and storyline. However we all know that none of us even look at the screen past the whizzing colors to see any of the action when we are playing. Cons: Song List. Maybe 1-2 OK songs each each set list, and towards the top just awful songs that I dread having to play. There is no sense of accomplishment in playing crappy songs. I almost would rather have a handful of GH3 songs and a souped up GH2 instead. No need to purchase this unless you are in love with the set list, best to wait for Rock Band and replay GH2 MHO-Mung

This is a very addicting game and one of the best games of the year no doubt.Its got alot of great songs to pick from and it has some really good graphics and the new controller is awesome.You should get this game it is a classic.
