Uncharted is a great game with great graphics a great story and great game play the game is basically fantastic the story is Hollywood caliber with interesting characters that you get attached to and really get to know will throughout the game.

This game is one of the best games of 2007! it has great graphics and a good story line but the aiming thing is kinda weird but you adapt to it. overall really good game and you should really get it or rent it.

After completing this game I had to pick my jaw up off the ground and re-train my motor skills to be able to stand up from my gaming couch. This game was a blast to play from the start screen all the way to the final showdown. It was a true blend of platforming spiced with a nice gun and cover mechanic. The gameplay really was some of the best I've played in some time. The story is pretty decent too, although there is a twist towards the end I found a little out of place. Graphics wise, Uncharted is a beast. Especially if you have the previlege to play this on a HD-TV. This is a great game that should not be overlooked by PS3 owners. Happy's: Great Graphics. Fun Combat. 16+ hours of a guaranteed good time. Sad's: Repetive use of some enemy models. A bit of cheese in story toward's end. Having to get up after 16+ hours of good time.

what a surprise hit the game has no equals. smooth gameplay and some good hours of gaming. its a milestone for years to come best game of 2007 for the ps3

This is how all the later Tomb Raider titles should've been done. Being set in the jungle, there will be plenty of comparison to Lara's many adventures. For those who haven't played TR, you will find Uncharted very fun and entertaining. The game is presented and executed well. The graphics are very crisp and the attention to detail is amazing. The action is intense and the ability to hide behind wall and shoot really works to your advantage. Maybe Drake is ready to recieve the torch from Lara.

Well uncharted is one of the few games that have been hyped up over the past months will turn up like lair or will it be better read my review. This game is the best Ps3 as to offer right now the graphics in this game are some of the best graphics I've ever seen. The voice acting is soild bringing in all stars like Nolan North voice of raph in TMNT and Steve Blum voice as orochimaru. The gun fights are similar to gears of war as u use a duck and cover type system it lenght is just right the only thing holding the game back from a 5 is because the fight scenes get old but there not that bad and of course of the minor graphical problem but it wont bring this game down if you hav a PS3 BUY THIS GAME. Though this game is not perfect, a 4.0 rating, is definitely under-rated. The flaws that GP gave was the frustration having to battle so many enemies? I think it's a bit more realistic, that there are a lot of bad guys firing at you, how are they going to consistantly miss? I'll tell you what, after playing the demo, i breezed through the controls (which i believe are great), and had no problem with the baddies. The graphics are simply amazing, and deserve a 4.75 or a 5.0 in my opinion. The demo itself was more fun, and better looking than the whole Ratchet and Clank game... I think GP needs to put more thought in this review and give more credit, where credit is due. This is a true AAA, and definitely worth the buy, but if your unsure, rent it or play the demo, and you'll instantly become hooked.

It took almost all day, but I finally had downloaded the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Demo to my PS3. Even though it wasn't finished, I could already tell it would be worth every cent of my $60. At a whopping 2,000 megabytes, it made use of every kilobyte. The game looked gorgeous. From its water effects to its shadows this game looks truly next-gen. And I don't even have an HDTV. After a short cinematic, I was thrust into a foreign and dangerous jungle. Seeing smoke not too far away, I ran, jumped, and climbed to reach the fire. As soon as the people saw me, they opened fire. It was time for me to fight back. They didn't know what they were dealing with. Gun combat in this game is as realistic as i've ever seen. Just shooting madly won't hit anything. Sure you could hit a couple lucky shots, but you have to aim. Aiming doesn't make you stop, either, it just slows you down. By pressing R3, you can move Drake from the left to the right side of the screen or vice versa so you can see and aim more suffecientaly. If someone does happen to aim at you, you have many options. You can use one of the many maneuvers at your disposal, like rolling or taking cover, or you can run up to the poor fellow and get up close and personal. Close combat isn't like most shooters. Instead of having a 1-hit-kill melee attack, you can execute many combos. But it isn't that easy. The AI is smart and always knows your next move. Hide for too long and you'll come face-to-face with a grenade. Long story short, this is some great game-making and I applaud Naughty Dog for taking another direction then their usual cartoony mascots. If every game was like this, there wouldn't be a need for critics. This game, for lack of a better comparison, is Prince of Persia with guns.
