Final Fantasy Tactics A2 is the pinnacle of turned-based strategy games. It has awesome graphics, amazing sound, loads of content, quests, and jobs making for almost endless combinations, and very tight and responsive controls. The menus might take a little time to get used to at first, but after a few plays, you'll be shifting through menus, equipping characters, and changing jobs like a pro. The story is the only game's weak point, but there is so much to make up for it, that just mentioning it is only nitpicking. The heart of any tactics game is the combat, and FFT A2 does not disappoint. Battles, big and small, come alive with vibrant, colorful visuals, amazing sound-effects, and strategic attack and defense with magic, weapons, shields, etc. This game is highly addictive and you'll marvel at just how 5 hours went by in the blink of an eye. If you own a DS and love turn-based strategy games, do yourself a serious favor and pick this one up. You'll be glad you did. It's almost worth buying a Nintendo DS just for this game alone.
Tskk tskk, Final Fantasy..

Well first off i would like to clarify that i don't own the game but a close friend of mine does and i play it quite often. First off i don't seem to be a fan of the final fantasy chronicles there's a few i like 7 etc., But when i played final fantasy tactics, it changed my whole view on the series i fell in love with the game. I do own the first one on VBA, and beat it multiple times, I believe it is much more in depth and have a much larger startegy than the main series. Though the graphics aren't the best it's sorta pixels and old school which bothers me not and doesn't take away from the game play, So over all what i have played of this game i give it a 5/5 stars, and recommended the following.
(Dofus)-The MMORPG PC game
(Fire eblem)(FFT1)(Wild Arms 1-5) all systems
Mrcatdemon out!
Still one of the Best tactics games

I was very excited to play the DS version of FF tactics,
well, when the time I was playing, Baam!! Brings back the memories I play the older versions, It is really good,More job classes means more fun.
It is very challenging when it comes to battle, choosing the right job.
The player should be very careful when changing jobs, well, it affects the growth of stats of each unit.
Well,Its still one of the best games I've ever played.

Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy. What can I say about this game series? Well for one, I know that it has more games in the franchise than I care to think of, but another thing about it is that some of it's spin off games are very enjoyable. Final Fantasy games are usually RPGs, but there are a few CG movies, an MMO, and SRPG versions of this Fantasy. And that's what I'm going to talk about now; the magnificent SRPG that is, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance: Grimoire of the Rift.(damn, that's a mouth full). The game is a sequel, not to the Final Fantasy Tactics series, but to the Final Fantasy tactics ADVANCE series. It's a really good game for the DS, that will consume hours, upon hours of your time. The game is typical in the SRPG sense; you take turns fighting enemies with a party on an isometric, gridded plain. The strength of this game comes from the fact that it has tons of weapons, items, and gear to customize your characters with, along with numerous job classes and missions to complete. The graphics aren't polygon pushing, but they look good, due to the fact that there are many vibrant colored sprites, and backgrounds that compliment the great musical score. The game doesn't really have that much of a story, but then again, neither did the previous one. So essentially, the gameplay is what will bring you to this DS game. You'll love the fact that the character customization stands out when compared to other games in the system, and the fact that you can spend a good 100-300 hours playing this game. It isn't without flaws, and isn't a humongous upgrade from the previous version, but it's still a really great game. And it's just plain fun.
