Reminiscent of Sim City 2000

Pros Cons
Just plain fun Doesn't live up to expectations

I am a die hard Sim City 2000 fan. I know, there have been many new versions since then. But nothing matches the simplicity and ease of setting up a city than the 2000. But alas, we're not here to talk about that version. Instead, Sim City DS.

I was so excited to hear about Sim City for DS, I pre-ordered it online. When it came, I have to say, I had hopes that it would have the simple, easy to use functions that 2000 has.

Well worth the price for game play. I can see using it if I'm bored out and waiting somewhere. But otherwise, I have not touched it since I purchased. Sadly.

not a good game

not a good game because the graphics are ugly and in the game tension about money if we we ran out of money you will have to restart

sim city

All right game. I think that other sims games are better. I dont like having to run the town or build it. It does give you tyhe experience of being a mayor though that is cool. But when on Earth is a city going to be attacked by giant monsters? Unrealistic!

Not quite like Sim City 3000

I got this game because it looked like Sim City 3000 since it is still my favorite Sim City game 8 years running. I was excited for Sim City DS since it looked like Sim City 3000 which is an excellent game and more accessible than Sim City 4. What I have seen so far in playing SC-DS is that it seems too simple and that has me wondering if this game is more of a dry run for the recently announced Sim City Societies which will be a more simple Sim City game than the recent Sim City games and I do not know if that is good or bad and that is the same thing I could say about this game. You won't be able to build your cities quite as large as you could in Sim City 3000 and that could be what turns off people who want to build the biggest and baddest city of them all. The only great thing about this game is it is portable and you could go walk around certain parts of some cities but that is all. I would sum all of this up by saying that I was disappointed in this game.
