The presentation is no where near how awesome 2k5 was but the gameplay is solid. Takes a couple hours to learn how to play decently.

With the last couple Madden games being a little dull I for sure thought that this years would be the same game as last years they surprised me and made the game alot better. They brought back the Franchise mode allowing you to move teams to ridiculous areas and such. The gameplay is very good as well with improved A.I. that brings a very stingy defense so it takes a little while to get used to it.

Only an idiot would wait in line and pay $59.99 for Rosters 08'. Just wait for a couple months then this piece of trash will be in bargain bins like the rest of the sports games out there.

i was epecting more from all the hype i thought it was going to be amazing and get a 5.0 but the superstar mode was weird because one of my supersstars was 65 because i messed up on the drills but he was still a starter that took the fun out of it for me. and some of the hits the players can take in mid air without dropping the ball was unrealistic.

i have been playing madden 2008 for last few days and it is fun. the graphics are unbelievable some of the new features on the new one are nice. the weapons extra they added is a nice touch. when first start the trophy rooms and rings on the front part are a new nice touch as well. it is kind of difficult as well when on all madden. the only thing i have noticed about it is that it doesnt have no way to change your camera view during gameplay. i like putting the screen on widescreen. it is definetly a step up from madden 2007. i havent got real far into my franchise mode but so far its nice. over all they did good with the upgrades. the comeout at begining of game is ok. havent got to get online yet but if anything like what it is on one player gonna be nice as well

I'm playing Madden 08 right now guys. And I am laughing my ass off. The first play I try is the ONE PLAY TO RULE THEM ALL. TE option. Perfect route and it was a 65 yard TD right out of the gate. And to top it off the game gave me an achievement for it. HAHHAHAHAAHA! Madden's graphics are nice. They actually look like they spent time on the player's faces and they look more accurate than before. They have also put a half time show in (sort of). You just cycle through the best plays of the half. Better than nothing. The players uniforms still look too "plastic" instead of APF's cloth look. APF the player's uniforms wrinkle with their movement while Madden's is pre bumpmapped stiff wrinkle. Not a big deal but considering that people were knocking APF's graphics, I gotta give the nod to All Pro. I think people are just stunned that Madden doesn't look like complete trash like 07. Madden's weight with players and the physics of the ball are uneven. On kick offs the ball feels right but then when it bounces on the ground and off of players it looks like a nerf football. Also when trying to kick field goals the ball seems like it all of the sudden weighs as much as a 30 pound sand bag. The passing game has been made difficult with over the middle throws being knocked down by DBs like they're ninjas. You can still hit outside routes as easily as 07 though. While it is the best Madden in awhile, I have to say All Pro 2k8's gameplay feels much more realistic with play phhysics and weight. I run up the middle with Okoye in APF and it looks like the guy is a 230 pound bowling ball. I do this with Larry Johnson on Madden and he's "floating and bouncing" through the middle. Good game, but still I was expecting something much more after seeing all these 9/10 reviews everywhere. I'd give it a 7.5/10. Another thing is people trying to say the Playbook is more robust than All Pro. No, they're about the same. I'd even say All Pro has more to pick from. Just go to the play book of your team and start messing with that. There is well over 2000 offensive and 1000 defensive plays. I think Madden has near that or about the same count. Just because on the play selection screen Madden has four plays a page instead of 3 plays a page doesn't make it have more plays. Also the radio announcer is back and the commentary sucks ass in Madden 08. Sorry guys Madden 08 isn't as good as it should be by now. 60 bucks my ass. That punting glitch from 07 still exists. I pinned the Steelers in their own 5 yard line twice and the refs gave it to them at the 20 both times. BS EA, BS.

its a real good game lots of great new features who am i kidding one of the best games today only if you like sports

Well what can I say..it's Madden the best football franchise there is...can't get much better than 07 but I'm sure they'll find a way. I loved 07 especially Superstar mode and I hope they update that. If you are a football fan get this game!
