All Resident Evil fans MUST HAVE!!!

RE4 is AWESOME. Capcom just made it even better & better every step of the game! I love how they used different enemies. They're not just zombies, they're like "canibal people." & the gameplay is beyond compare. Its funny though, cause when Leon dies he makes a weird sound like he has a "Death Cry." It sounds like he says "Hyyyymmmm" & I find that really funny when I get killed XDD

WOW!!!

This game is excellent, it boasts some of the most impressive visuals to date on Nintendo's next generation console, and takes the series into the realm of truly three-dimensional gameplay.Arguably one of the best games of the last generation and easily the best in the wii collection. The control most certainly is not the most responsive thing on the planet. It is my opinion that the Wii control, in fact, detracts from the experience and makes clumsy that which was previously smooth gameplay. Perhaps I'm a bit of a purist, but the original RE4 was lauded for finally bringing tight control to the series, and the Wii version seems to take a step back from that. But aside from this only con the game is great a good game in its own right...

There's a new Resident in town...

As anybody who's ever heard of video games probably knows, there are no zombies in Resident Evil 4. There are evil villagers, jaw-dropping freaks of nature, and an evil priest dude. And yes, you can shoot them in that magical place that makes their heads explode. But no zombies. Which is kind of disappointing - I was really hoping to blast away the walking dead with my WiiMote. Guess I'll have to wait for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for that. This version of the highly popular Resident Evil 4 is, for the most part, exactly what Gamecube and PS2 owners have already seen. The only difference is the control scheme. Players use the WiiMote to aim and shoot, break crates and barrels, slash with knives, wriggle away from a villager's chokehold...anything. And it's a fairly ingenious scheme, if one that takes a lot of getting used to. That's the major problem with this game: the learning curve. In the first hour of my adventures, I'd been stabbed with a pitchfork, shanked with a machete, and beheaded with a chainsaw, among others. And this was the first part of the game, on the easier of the two difficulties the game offers. The more you play the game, the better you get, and the more you start to enjoy the game. It's just really frustrating at first. Still, at $30, this is certainly a worthy pickup for Wii players, and ought to tide you over until Umbrella Chronicles comes out.

pretty darn good

I gave the gamecube edition a 5 out of 5 because it was more fresh then. this got a 4.5 because its the same game, no new nothing. the controls do enhance the gameplay, but not too too much. a 4.5 out of 5 T see my original reveiw click this
