The weab slinger spun a weak web

spider man 3 for the Wii is one of the worst titles for it. on the plus side the webslinging is kind of fun....not much else,on down side is everything else. The graphics are lame, the boss battles ar near impossible with terrible controls they give you, the side quests are tedius, and theres really nothing different than horrible controls!!

When Spider-Man met Raid

When you think Spider-Man 3 on the Wii, you automatically think it would be cool to use the remote & nunchuck to sling web. Well, that dream is a reality, and it stinks!. Spider-Man 3 lacks in almost every category. The mechanics of the web slinging is not good at all. I found myself slamming into walls, going the wrong way, and even getting myself thrown into the river (which kills you) The story is alright, but it's corny and the combination of bad mechanics and strange levels leads to replaying the levels over and over until you get the steps down. The graphics on the other hand, aren't bad... there TERRIBLE! The buildings look like gray rectangles, Spidey isn't that detailed, and everything just looks bad. The sound is decent, and the characters are actually voiced by the real actors. The commentator is weird and the enemies seem to only have two lines. Basically not a good game.

...stupid fanboys.

This game is just plain awful. The PS3 and 360 versions are at least visually pleasing, but this game looks worse than Paris Hilton's face run over by a truck 15 times. Flat out terrible. Hey fanboys, heres something you can stick in your dumb little Wiimotes: THE WII HAS VERY FEW GOOD GAMES.

Spider-Man swings his way onto the Wii......

And hits a huge brick wall. This game is fun for the first few minutes. But it quickly turns into a huge ,slimy, symbiote mess. First, to hit somebody you have to flick the wiimote back and forth. This only works if you turn the sensitivity way up. And even then you still recieve more hits than you can dish out. But the swinging is fun ,until you swing right into the side of a building. I thought it would be fun trying to swing like spider-man. But this game makes it way too hard. I kept running into walls after I beat the main story(which is only about 30% of the game). The graphics were horrible. The textures popped up only a few meters away. I even saw a building that didn't have any textures! After seeing Twilight Princess I would of expected better graphics than this. I think the N64 Spider-Man game looked (and played) better. This game was full of glitches. When you look at the black spidey up-close his eyes turned black. Peoples lips didn't sync with the sounds. Then their voices changed. And they kept saying the same things over and over again. It made my head hurt. The acting was even worse than the second game. If that was possible. It was like Peter Parker had PMS the whole game. I am warning you: DON'T BUY THIS GAME. And only rent it if you are a big Spider-Fan.

This Was a Game Based On a Movie?

Spider-Man 3 The Game was not like the movie at all.I saw the movie and it was The best Spider-Man movie yet. I expected Long Battles and Many Villans(last games had many differnt villans not in the movies). In the Movie (sorry) Harry is killed by his board, and in the game he is blown up.The battle between spidey and venom is not in the game either. It is just a stupid fist fight. The only thing that saves the game is the Free area.I would not recommend this game to any gamer because it is too easy and u would bet it in a day or two.Plus it's $50 that i could use on better long games,so if u have 2 u should rent this game.

Slinging Webs Gone Interactive?

For all you people out there who hate Spiderman, to you, T say shove it. For all the homeboys that liked the comics and the movies, do I have a comic book-wrapped treat for you! A new Spiderman game! And with this next-gen installment, there comes one question. How this work on the Wii? Let me describe it in 3 words. Fun, Repetitive, Unresponsive.
Fun:I am not gonna lie to you. I had a blast with these controls when I first got it. It takes a while to get used to, like most Wii games, but they are good.
Repetitive:After about 3 and 1/2 hours of gameplay(Which is a little less then half the time i spent on the story)I got sick of the controls. I'm not sure why, but it could just be me. They just kept doing the same thing.
Unresponsive:This one pretty much describes itself.
Overall, if you are a Spiderman fan, get it. But for all the casual gamers, I give it a Rent-able.
