When i heard of pokemon Diamond i was like oh god another retarded game where you throw your balls at helpless animals.but I saw all the threads on the message boards saying how cool it was I bought it. the story mode will keep you busy for hours! in the first 2 days I put about 15 hours into it. The only complaints I have are the following, the still 2.5d graphics, the same wild pokemon over and over and over again, and the elite 4 is brutally hard (not to mention cheap) I can get through the first 3 but the 4th gets a little tougher and the champion is harder than anything I've faced in the game. And the catch is no stopping, face one, face the next and so on. no healing in between no stopping to go to the poke center nothing. but everything else is pretty darn good. and that's from someone who 3 weeks ago made fun of people from watching pokemon! so if you need to kill 40 hours pick up this game.

The game is to me an o.k. game. Not the best they have ever had, but at least much easier to beat. All the new pokemon are weird/kinda cool. The game always has the same story line, but with other stuff.

another pokemon game... I am not saying bad, it is just the fact that they are getting worse every time they unleash another pokemon game. all they do is just bring us more pokemon to hate and a stupid plot that ALWAYS AGGRIVATES ME!...sorry, i got carried away, anyway the story is pretty much the same every time and there is no divernce between the versions. The olny thing that is truly new is that they have touch-screen controls and online trading/battling. in conclusion, the game series is always getting old for teenagers like me, and they need to make the game series more inovative, that is all i'm saying.

Pokemon Diamond is the BEST POKEMON GAME OUT!!!!!It's 180 new pokemon,sweet story line,and new gyms,new elite four,and the new lengendary pokemon are SWEET!!!!!All of u should buy this game!!!!!!You start out as a boy/girl looking for a rare pokemon.While looking at the lake with your best friend,you find two people.They leave,but leave a briefcase.Inside,you find 3 starter pokemon:Piplup,Turtwig,&Chimchar.Pick one,then your launched into a battle.win,and you get to keep the pokemon you chose!This is the review of the BEST POKEMON GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Everyone with a DS should by one!!!Oh,and you can put your old pokemon games for GBA(you cannot put old games like ones for Game Boy Color in!!!)to your DS and trade them to your DS(NOTE:You have to have National Dex to do this.)I really love this game!!!You just have to buy it!!!

This is one great game! The new features brings out the best in the game,like the compatibillity with past GBA Pokemon games. I've been a pokemon fan since Red,Blue,And Yellow,but if someone was wanting to start playing pokemon I'd recomend diamond or pearl.For the fact is it's the best pokemon game yet! One last thing.If your having trouble decieding which one to buy.....My advice is to start out with Diamond,unless you wanted to get pearl really badly like I did,if you played past pokemon games.If you didn't(which I did because i've been a fan since they came out)choose Pearlit is a little bit easier to catch the legendaries on pearl.I know from experience.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl is a great game. You can catch all kinds of pokemon like Budew Infernape and all types of pokemon! It is the best game ever!

I got Pearl two days ago and I was amezed at how good it is. The underground is cool and to battle other players around the world is great! a 10 out of 10

ok so i got diamond for DS and it is awesome the same great things that made the others great. The new features work well like the real time and the you can only catch different Pokemon at different times is cool. the only problem with it they did not set up the battle controls as smooth s they could be other than that not many problems. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

One of the biggest and most successful franchises ever made finally comes to the Nintendo DS in two editions: Diamond and Pearl. Sure, gamers can complain that not much new has been added to the formula, but theres something to be said about it's insanly addicting gameplay. With almost 500 Pokemon in total, it adds greatly to the lasting appeal. The graphics don't have too much of an improvement over the GBA games, but its nothing to complain about. Online play is probably the most significant feature to this game as it allows you to compete with other Pokermon trainers, whether the gamer is across the room or across the world. The touch screen isn't used for much; only for minigames and slecting battle tactics. So Diamond and Pearl don't exactly change much from thier predecessors, it is still a fun and engaging game.

when are some people going to learn sure I played pokemon but I stop after yellow it is the same repetive thing
