this game is awesome for the Nintendo DS. i have been a big fan of pokemon ever since i got pokemon Red Version on the gameboy ever since that day it was getting better and better.
This is an amazing franchise and is really really addicting. that is probably why so much people like it. It would be better if there were some twist to the game than it would be at the hight rank. But overall a really great game.
Great DS Pokemon game.

My favorite Pokemon games have got to be Gold Silver and Crystal, hands down. Those games were excellent in every sense of the word. I mean they had a lot of innovative concepts that have been used in newer games, or have stemmed other concepts that reoccur throughout the games. With an anticipation for a similar experience in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, I guess you could say that my expectations weren't EXACTLY met, but that doesn't mean that the games aren't superb. Now on the DS, the new Pokemon generation brings more species to the table, with new creatures, evolutions, and pre-evolutions to existing Pokemon. There are also a lot more varied type combinations this time around. The battle system has undergone a minor change; now physical and special attacks are fully dependent on the attack themselves. The day and night feature makes a return, and the story is typical for Pokemon, but is still fun. You'll travel many places, and meet new friends as well as enemies. The graphics aren't really a major upgrade, but get the job done. There are mini games, and light stylus inclusion, but the major addition to the series is online play. Now, you can trade Pokemon and battle trainers from around the world. This mode works well, and you can even chat with your adversaries using the DS mic. There is also a system for placing your Pokemon up online, as part of a trade system that works even when your DS is off. Placing earlier GBA Pokemon games allow you to move Pokemon over from those games to Diamond and Pearl. The game is lengthy and fun. Exploring every nook and cranny looking from items, new areas, new Pokemon, and new secrets all add to the experience. You just can't ask for a better title for the DS. And that's probably why the fun DS games have managed to sell more than 14 million copies world wide.

I'm an avid pokemon game fan. I have bought every handheld game thus far, and this is no exception. It's basically an upgraded version of what the old games were. Fun, addictive, yet simple RPG gameplay. I really enjoy using the stylus for picking battle options. It makes you feel more involved. The visuals are nice and bright and a big upgrade from the old GBA games. The Pokemon universe is getting too big for me now lol. I'm gonna try, but it could be a real challenge trying to catch em all!

This particular version of the pokemon series is definitly better. I like the way that nintendo utilized the touch screen.
Repetative, yet addicting gameplay.

If you've ever played any Pokemon game, you'll know the basic format of the games. Get Pokemon, start battling. This game follows the format tightly, and has worked so well. If you're looking for something different, maybe Pearl/Diamond isn't for you. But, if you're wanting a bit more Poke-stalgia, tap this.

This is Pokemon, and by seeing the pass few games, you can think that they were great. Well the Ds version is great and better in my opinion. Lets move on to Story, well its Pokemon and the main Objection is to become the Pokemon Master and To Catch em' All! Lets move on to Audio, its is quite repetitive, but It gives the game some motion. Now lets move on to Controls, Its great and doesnt abuse the Touch Screen. And now the gameplay the most important in a game, Its great, its fun, its Addicting fun. Once you get your hands on it you wont want to stop playing. One of the big features of this game was the Online Capabilities, the Battling, the trading, and not to mention the Voice Chat. The Voice Chat is good, and one of the best parts is that you dont need the headset all you need is your Mic on your DS. Its makes Battling more fun, and you can connect with your friends while trading. Well Overall this game is great, one of the best on DS. And I highly recommend it to those Pokemon Freaks and Ds owners.

Pokemon has come out with new shiny versions. will they live up to the older versions? yep. Diamond and pearl are great additions to the pokemon family. with uses for the touch screen and new cooler looking pokemon it comes as a good game. problms: not enough touch screen uses as hoped. still a bit childish gd things: good graphics, good basic idea, still addicting, and newer pokemon. I say...hm.... well BUY IT!!!!!!
