No More Heroes-Wii

Pros Cons
Addictive gameplay Not enough content
Tight controls Poor storytelling
Just plain fun Annoying audio
Epic boss fights Repetitive gameplay
Amazing visuals
Intense action

This game is such an awesome game, especially for someone that like violence in a humorous way. You get a Beam Katana which is a chinese/japanese sword with a laser beam. The whole point of the game is to get to the number 1 rank. You are a professional assassin and you start at rank 11 and work your way to number 1. This game mixes violence with humour and even has a great character. The main Character's name is Travis Touchdown and he is the type of guy you want to be friends with. (Well when he's not chopping people's heads off!) He is becoming number 1 to sleep with Sylvia and the last boss fight after you beat her is so hilarious. I definately reccomend this game to anyone that has a fetish for violence!

Whats better than using guns?

Pros Cons
Addictive gameplay
Epic boss fights
Intense action
Just plain fun
Amazing visuals

The answer to that question is a beam katana. This is game is one the best games i have played to on the Wii. And believe me that can be tough. No More Heroes is bloody game where you assume the role of Travis Touchdown as the number 11 assassin an your main goal in the game make your way to the top of the ranks to impress girl named Sylvia who is part of the UAA (United Assassins Agency). With a GTA look to it letting you explore Santa Destroy where you can make cash to upgrade your weapons and dress up your character with the clothes of your choice. Though the game play may be repetitive, you you will be spending too much fun killing your enemies with the flick of the Wii Remote to care off your enemies. With crude humor cutscenes and flimsy fourth wall that will cause twist in the plot this game is a must have for any Wii owner 15 or up.

Finally, a mature game for the hardcore Wii gamer

Pros Cons
Epic boss fights Repetitive gameplay

The Wii has plenty of games for the casual gamer, but not many for the traditional, hardcore audience, and No More Heroes fills that void. You control Travis Touchdown, an otaku by day, and an assassin by night, after obtaining a lightsaber type sword and becoming the 10th ranked assassin almost by mistake.
Your goal, as Travis, is to become the number 1 ranked assassin by killing off the other assassins. The game has a nice balance of "waggle" control and traditional controls. Some gamers may scoff at the weirdness of the game, but if you can look past it, this is one gem of a game.

An Unpolished Gem

Epic boss fights

Those Wii owners who have waited with bated breath for a "mature" game (though the definition varies by person, a quick running version might be a game in which one or more people/creatures/life forms gushes blood at some point) will be glad to know that the wacky but gifted Suda 51 and co. have delivered an awesome action experience for the Wii, one that sheds any notion of kiddiness within the first five seconds of gameplay. The most impressive aspect of the game has to be its character work: generic baddies and bit characters are fairly rote, but both the protagonist, Travis Touchdown and his liason to the fighting-for-cash scene, Sylvia, are larger-than-life. This is to say nothing of the bosses, battles against whom are epic in scope and downright fun, though honestly in later levels you simply want to carve up cardboard-cutout generic baddies as quickly as possible and complete the mini-games in all haste to reach the far-more-satisfying fights against ranked assassins. The overworld could stand a little more variety, as there are only a handful of spots worth venturing to, and those mainstays tend to offer up repetitive events, but the quest for random items such as the orbs with which you can gain additional powers or the many new outfits with which to adorn the game's hero tend to be enjoyable excursions more often than not. In short, No More Heroes is greater than the sum of its parts, and the story truly shines during the memorable boss battles. Here's hoping for a new brand of Wii game: Far More Like This One!

I enjoyed this game of it's fighting and art approach. The game just got way to repetitive later on doing pretty much the same missions

100 percent action. A bloody good time.

Pros Cons
Intense action Repetitive gameplay
Engaging story
Just plain fun

If you own a Wii and you want a game that earns its M rating then look no further than No More Heroes. It's bloody, violent, and very funny. The dialogue is so damn funny and Travis Touchdown is one cool character. My only major complaint aside from it gets a little repetitive are those really lame side/part time jobs you have to do to earn money to go on to the next ranked battle mission. They're really lame and none of them are really all that fun, they're just a waste of time. A great 3rd party game for the Wii (now thats rare) and a must own, if not at least rent. I can't wait for a sequel, I don't want to spoil anything but its open for a sequel and they really should make one. You won't be disappointed by No More Heroes.

Hitman on drugs...

Pros Cons
Epic boss fights Repetitive gameplay

No More Heroes is about a guy that gets in the career of being an assassin in a California beach city. You have to earn money, take on contracts, and move your way up the ranks of the assassins in the city. Although repetitive, the gameplay is really fun, and the boss fights are incredible. Reaching the number 1 spot is really fun. The story is very strange though, I won't reveal anything but is is really interesting. A word of warning, not for kids!, the M rating is accurate this time around. It was a great game though and I suggest it to anyone who is interested

best mature game for Wii

My checklist: (.75/1) Graphics-not next-gen, but that isn't the point, it looks good for its style (.25/.5) Plot-He does all this to do this broad-not well built beam katana=light saber whose idea was it to steal from Star Wars (1/1) Difficulty Curve (2/2) Controls-fun, first lightsaber game of Wii (.5/.5) Is it Fun total-4.5- fun, graphics are unique, but plot is kind of shitty and THEY F**KING STOLE FROM STAR WARS[/b. He is fun to control, and its got a nice difficulty curve. Recommend- Since we got a drought of lightsaber games until Force Unleashed, get it. Probably the only good mature game for wii for a while
