Burning Out the competition!

U know, I just love burnout games! I never really liked racing games, but just add a dash of DESTRUCTION, then we have ourselves a game! What good would twisted metal be without any explosions? Same goes with this game! It's faster paced than it's predecessors, giving you the oppurtunity to keep your turbo up, by drifting, close calls, or even just driving on the wrong side of the road! Of course it has the usual modes of crashing/racing! Best one out of all of them!

Disappointing

The graphics were bad, the racing was shaky but acceptable...and I just wasn't interested compared to Burnout Revenge. Dominator could have been better if more time would have been spent into this game!

It's alright.

Burnout Dominator is a average racing game that has not changed a lot since Burnout Revenge. This game has mediokre graphics, the soundtrack is one of the worst that i have ever heard on a racing game, and some of the challenges are too hard. Overall, this game ain't that bad, so i recommend that you at least rent it if you do not want to spend all of that money on it. Burnout is a good series, but they made a stutter step when making this game.

Best burnout yet

I am a big fan of Burnout games and I have to say this the best one in the series. It is just all around better. The gameplay is pretty much the same but the sound and grphics are pretty good. The only improvment is that it should be more challenging during regular game.

BurnOut, A Train Wreck?

Pros Is there alot "good" about this game? Not really. Though I will give it extremley nice crashes. It will seem as if this was a real crash. Though there are many cons. Cons Alright there is many horrible things. There is no storyline. You have no idea why your doing anything. It is almost a clone of the former series. If you ask me, only rent the game it is not worth buying. Cars The cars are not customizable. They only come in other colors. Some cars don't even have that feature. Usually it is hard to obtain cars. Yet the cars are nice designed and details are reconizable. TakeDowns The takedown system is an awsome feature. It allows you to get your revenge or just gain a posistion by making them crash. In races it is not as easy because you must focus on the track while taking someone down. It's going to be more difficlt in a race basicly.

Another tired franchise

The first Burnout was kind of a sleeper. And the next few had a good following due to the additions of different game and race modes. This one is a stripped down version. It's all racing, although there are some variation to the types of races. The track roster is small, you'll be leaving skid marks over the same places quite often. The sense of speed and the thrill of drifting around a long turn is still there. The crashes seem a little less spectacular although the effects seem to have improved a little overall. The soundtrack is lackluster. How many versions of Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" do we need to listen to, I don't care if it's in a different language. Luckily, you can choose which songs will play. I weeded down to around 6 songs I could tolerate. The controls are good, each car handles a little differently. Visuals are rock solid although I occasionally had an oncoming car come out of nowhere for me to run into. All in all, not a bad racer. The sheer number of races makes it somewhat tedious and the fact that they excluded some game modes that were in previous installments makes me think that this one was another last ditch cash grab title for the previous generation consoles.
