The first Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was an awesome game, but does the sequel live up to the name. GRAW 2 is basically the same game as the first one with some changes. From the last game the graphics and sound are better, there are many new and improved vehicles and weapons, the multi-player modes are more refined, there is a new story mode complete with new missions, and more multi-player maps. The story mode is basically SGT. Mitchell is sent back into Mexico (mostly Juarez) because nuclear devises were detected there. There is also a quick mission mode included where you can play through any of the completed single player missions, the story modes length is a little shorter than most games with about 6 to 10 hours of play, depending on if you do the quick missions or not . The graphics in 2 are better than the original but not by a huge margin. The sound is mildly better with crisper sounds and explosions. There are some new vehicles and most of the older ones were improved. There are also a few new gadgets and most from the original were improved with enhanced control. The weapons in the sequel are also about the same with a few new and improved guns from the original. The biggest difference between this one and the original are the new multi-player maps and the ability to choose between two lighting set-ups (e.g. dawn, noon, dusk, etc) all of the maps are new and there are about the same number of maps compared to the original. The multi-player modes have also been improved upon. There are also eight co-op missions that you and a friend can complete which adds more longevity to the title, but the real question is, is it worth purchasing the sequel if you already have the original, yes and no. Yes if you really liked the original and/or are bored of the multi-player maps, but if you thought that the first Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was just OK then, it is probably not a good purchase for you. If you happen to own an Xbox 360 and do not already own the original then I would definitely buy Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. Overall even though this game lacks a deep single player campaign, this is an extremely fun game to play locally, through system link, and on Xbox Live. Its a great improvement on an already amazing game.

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 is a great game with great graphics and a great amount of skill required to beat the game! When I played it, it took some getting used to because i am used to games like halo where it takes an entire army worth of fire just to get your shields down. In AW, all it takes is one good shot to the head and your out. It's a toughy, but highly recommended!

I love shooter games and GRAW 2 was a great addition to my game library. The whole concept of the civil war in Mexico and being a ghost soldier is kind of cool. You can tell that you are some important soldier. The campaign is fun but my favorite part is online. I feel the whole hook up for it is easy and the gameplay is fun. Multiplayer is usually what i do when GRAW 2 is in because it is so fun.

Great graphics great story plot. I beat the whole game alot of times cuz its just too good to take for granted.

graphics are amazing.shooting control is great and no glitches.its my favorite game for xbox 360 and my favorite war game all time.

i think that ghost recon advanced warfighter 1 was a great game but the 2 on is even better it actually feels like your in the action which is a great aspect for that game i recommend it to all 360 gamers

Simpley splendid looking and playing. For those who played GRAW you will notice that the controls are pretty much the same, 3rd person behind the guy view with the same cover style. You will also notince the graphics are quite a bit better with even more effects and better lighting. So what has changed? The crosscom has been beefed up so now you can actually switch the view to the others you are controlling. They also added vehicles which is really cool. It is a blast to drive them using the new crosscom feature. The ai seems to be much better this time around too. Your teamates actually fight effectivly. This game is yet another must have for 360. The online rocks too!!!

I would say that Ubisoft accomplished a very hard thing by improving on Graw 1. The graphics are truly outstanding at least on par with Gears of War of not better. The single player moves very well without a lot of cut scenes you get all your information on the HUD. The new mule is nice to have moving cover and a constant reload station. The multiplayer is deep with a lot of different gametypes including coop, single and team games. I personally love doing the helo hunts i think they are the most fun.

this is the frekin best game ever the explosions are crazy! if u dont have it get it! It is 10x better than the first one
