Needs the old NES controller

Fun game but hard to control with the 360 controller. Needs the old NES controller to make the whole thing as fun as it was.

Makes you appreciate the NES version.

I'm a huge Contra fan, but to be honest I never played the arcade version. I was a NES Contra Vet so when I saw this on Xbox Live Arcade I snatched it up. It's great with the 2 player online, but I have to say, I'd rather have the NES version. The controls aren't quite as precise (could be the crappy Dpad from MS) and the levels seem a lot shorter. All in all I guess since it is only 400pts ($5.00) it is kind of cool, but I was expecting an upgrade.
