Def jam Icon s an okay game bt it isnt better then fight for nyc. the game has more characters then other 2 I also like the music the game has. But the first two had blazin moves and a better story to it!

this game is awesome I'm not going to lie. Lets start with my dislikes one of my major dislikes is... not being able to see your health, i know that they have the camera scheme so it's like if you have low health they kinda zoom in on you or vise versa. Another thing i don't like is when you activate the DJ tables it's kinda hard to change music (if I'm correct to change music you have to move the left and right analog stick to the beat of your song but i might be wrong).One more thing that I didnt like is that you practically have to pay for all of your homeies needs like having to pay for a nice sweet for young jeezy's family that's just one example. the last thing i dont like is that you have to mash the buttons to beat your enemy (at first it's easy you dont have to mash the bottons all that much but once you get deeper in the game it gets harder and harder and harder). Now what i liked about the game is... that you could customize your player instead of having to play as what the game company whats you to be. I also like how you could drees your player however you like (but i do wish they had more cloths) which in a way shows your personality. I also like the different areas you fight in and how theirs hazards every where, my favorite area though is the club cuz i think it's really funny when one of the pole dancers kicks my enemy and he flys half way across the room (that is part of the many hazards in that level and in the game). Overall all the game is one of the beast fighting games I've played i recomend it if you like fighting games but rent it to see if you like it first.

Anybody who loves hiphop and fighting should get this game thats a reason why I checked it out. The graphics of this game are some of the best that I've seen in a fighting game. The moves used vary from the styles of the fighter such as Wrestling, Street, And Karate. Whats pretty cool about the in-game fighting is that you can use the beats from the music to inflict damage to your opponent by using objects in the background. It has just about 30 different rappers and entertainers to choose from. The soundtrack takes hit songs from the rappers and it turns out to be the best game soundtrack I have ever heard. As far as depth the game has a build a label feature which is pretty cool at first but it gets shallow as time goes on with the storyline. It has other features that kinda make you wonder such as ridiculous amounts of clothing and Jewerly but the graphics are sure to make up for these flaws.

i love these games and this is my favorite one that was ever made. it is all based on real charecters like young jeezy and also so others it is realy actually a fun game and i play it all the time on the 360.

I had great expections of this game. I thought it was going to be the good old grapple system street fighting. I was wrong. I just felt like a plan fighting game. I admit the graphics are amazing and the storyline isn't to bad, but i just miss the grapple system, and the off the wall finisher moves.

Def Jam Icon is a new game for the xbox360. It is a fighting game sequel to Def Jam FIght For NY. Ill start off by saying this game is nasty. The story mode is called build a label. U create a player and compete against other labels. U wanna make a name for urself. But watch your back. THe fighters in this game are awsome. There is 35 fighters, and they look terrific. The Fighting though isnt as good as it looks. The attacks are general but fun. And the environments are cool. i think the dj controls are a bit stupid. Exploding a gas tank with ur hands is a bit too unreal. The songs in the game are good. Completly uncensored. Def Jam icon is close to being the best fighting game on the 360. But gameplay flaws pull it back a bit. I give this game an 4.75
