"Its actually a game that comes with the remote, not the opposite"

INTRO:The game that is packaged here is the game that came with the Nintendo Wii when it was released in Australia.Wii Play has a Wiimote that comes with the game for a few bucks more than the Wiimote alone so you can have a new game for not much more than buying a Wiimote. The title on the box claims that it is a Wiimote that comes with the game, but one might not think so. REVIEW:"Wii play has the advantage of coming with a Wiimote wich will make many happy people".How wrong! Its the oposite, the game isn`t much worth to buy for,you get 9 mini games but they aren`t even all good. Those mini-games can be fun like Pool, the duck hunt kinda game and a few others but some are just plain boring like pose mii, hockey and others. You have to play the games in a specific order as you play the first to unlock the second...then you have all of them, played em a few times and get bored! What more, well nothing you won`t get much money from it. We can be glad OUR Nintendo Wiis came with Wii Sport if you think Wii Pay is a game that can match it youve got it wrong.Overral its not too bad, your kids will probably enjoy it but its not a game that will last very lng,ok for the Wiimote wich is he advantage of it.

Fun

It is a very fun game...you are probably wondering on the 2.0 right? The controls are terrible.Pool is fun but there is a hassle with the wii-mote i mean you pull it back and when you shoot it doesn't move.Fishing is boring and Ping pong is frickin hard!.Graphics are wii-sports graphics and it is just a mediocre game.

Wii Play

A super limited, but sophisticated little title for the nintendo wii. It has 9 mini games (that if you think about it cost $1 each!), which includes: laser hockey, table tennis, pose mii, shooting range, billiards, and my 4 favourite, tanks, charge, fishing, and find mii. The game consists of crap sound, boring average graphics, ok gameplay on SOME of tghe mini games. This WOULD be classed as one of the worst games ever made, if it was full price, but its not - Just TEN bucks additional to when you buy an additional wii-mote! Therefore Highly recommended.

Wii Play. Do You?

Presenting... WiiPlay ! WiiPlay seems to me like a long distant relative of the console accompanying WiiSports, made more of a relationship because wiiplay comes with a wiimote WII WII WII WII! they are making me listen to nature's calling! but that is beond the point. wii play is an... okay game. it could be better. wiiplay comes with 8 games, claiming 9, they can't count though, they advertise 7, have 10and claim 9 table tennis charge! (a racing game on cows knocking down scare crows and leaping over fenses in a wild and rope-made world) tanks! ( very odd, and simple war game) laser hockey (virtual neon lights version of air hockey in space) shooting range pose mii (put your mii in a position and catch bubbles) find mii (find the desgnated mii character, the fattest, a matchm your mii, the one that sticks out, ones like that) fishing and billards ( a form of pool) to me, it seemed as if they lost all of there steem after table tennis, laser hockey, and billards, making the others just so it could be marketed better. to sum it up, it can be fun, but gets a little boring after a while, and it lacks origionallity too bad if you ask me... atleast there's a remote included..., oh and the ads are severely flawed, with the number mistakes, and when they show a remote, it's the older style, that they revised.

Quite the mediocre game

Ok for the recored i just rented this game, and would to no extent buy it. sure, it comes with the free wii controller, but these mini games are about as boring as you can. The good part is it actually has 2 good mini games. i gotta say Tanks and pool ftw. other than that, bleh.

It's like Wii Sports...WITH TANKS!

Clearly, Wii Play and its predecessor, Wii Sports, were made by the same people. It's the same basic structure - you get to use the Miis you created and used in Wii Sports, except this time, the games are...well, different. The whole thing is basically a WiiMote tutorial in nine games - and no, I don't think it's a coincidence they bundled it with a WiiMote - with only one game using the Nunchuk, and that's optional. You would think there wasn't much to learn as far as the WiiMote is concerned, but there's a lot to it. There's the traditional point-and-shoot (the Shooting Range, easily the best of them all), the Excite Truck training mode (the one where you ride a cow and take down scarecrows, easily the hardest of them all), the pseudo-Game Boy mode (Tanks), and six others besides. They're easy enough to learn, and it makes for some fun two-player action (sorry, no four person billiard matches). This is a fun game, and one definitely worth picking up, even if you don't need the extra WiiMote.

Shallow, but Fun

Wii Play, a Wii Sports-like game was in stores today. Though the 9 games are definently not worth $50 themselves, Wii Play includes a $40 value Wiimote, making the game only $10, about $1.12 per game, this is easily worth your money. The game consists of 9 shallow but fun games, mainly used as an intro to the Wiimote. Miis are used in some games. Graphics are, of course, bad; but the sound can actually be entertaining. Shooting Range: Shooting Range is one of the more enjoyable games. It is Duck Hunt-like shooter, with targets like ballons, targets, and UFOs. The gameplay is fun, but there are only 5 short levels. Find Mii: Easily the worst of the games. From a group od Miis, you have to select "Two Matches, the Mii you're using, the odd one out". Very dull. Table Tennis: Simple, yet addicting. Quick paddle movements and fast rallies are great, but why can't we actually hit the ball instead of moving the paddle? Also, it's too bad it's single rally, only up to 100. Pose Mii: Another addicting, fast-paced game, though still not that fun. You have to position your Mii with button presses and remote movements into bubbles before time runs out. Kind of dull after a while. Laser Hockey: Basically Pong or Air Hockey seen from the side, Laser Hockey is very fun, and may be one of my favorites. The quick remote aiming and twisting is very fun, along with neon lights and challenging AI. Simple, but great fun. Billiards: Another of my personal favorites. It is much like a regular game of billiards. You line up your shot with the cursor, pull back the Wiimote, and thrust it forward to hit. Also very fun, controls well, and has surprising depth. Fishing: Another of the more boring ones, though it can be fun and relaxing. Move your rod with the Wiimote, and pull back to catch. Charge!: Also very fun. Your cow charges forward, controlled by tilting left and right to stear, forward and back to adjust speed. If only it weren't so short! Tanks!: This may be my favorite. The tank is controlled by control stick or D-Pad, with B and A handling shells and mines. Very fun, deeper, and acts like a simple RTS. There are also multiple levels! All these games are even better in multiplayer, and it makes a great party game. Wii Play is great, especially if you need an extra wiimote. If not, it may be better played at a friends or rented, if thats possible.
