I played this game on the 360 and thought it was great and had some good elements to it, such as the graphics and physics. So i decided to download the demo on the PSN store just so i could say "hey, i have the demo on my ps3." As it turns out the demo disappointed me a lot, so I thought the final version of the game could be better. As it turned out, it wasn't. The PS3 version of Fear stunk. The graphics were dull and it slowed down a lot. This is another game that the 360 owns over the PS3. I hope FEAR 2 could change the way i see this game when it's developed on both systems.

Why did they take a great game in "FEAR" and destroy it with this second rate port. Shame on them. If you played the 360 version this is a truly laughable attempt to showcase, well, nothing.

poor ps3 , its taking the scraps from PC and Xbox and threating it like gold. the fact is the game could look a lot better, i mean i didnt pay $600 to have the same crap handedover from the 360. F.E.A.R. is a good game, but if you were hoping for a breakthrough , your not gonna get one. its the same game that came out 2 years ago, but if your looking for a good online game BY ALL MEANS get this game, but thats about it.

I was really looking forward to this game and once I played it I did love it but then I started to look at the graphics and lack of detail. The game overall is great and gas the scare effects at every single corner you turn. It does feel like a movie and is fun to play, but once you start to remember this is a PS3 game it definitly lacks in detail. The frames are a little choppy and your enemies are very easy to defeat, not what I was exactly expecting. But still this game is very fun and should be played if your looking for a scary FPS.

I really had been anticipating this gae for awhile, I have been dying for something "mature" that could possibly take the place of resistance and get me through the next couple of months. Visually this game was a real let down, and hearing the reviews before hand really set me back because I wasnt expecting that, but the game play appears to be fun. I like hw the A.I. isnt just mindless soilders and actually try and use tactics. I like the creepyness of it all and think that even though most of the vsulas are blah the character models are pretty good. I look forward to really getting into the game and hopefully the gameplay will makeup for what it is lacking in other areas.
