Its got a great story line as do all the grand theft auto series but the shooting and the taking cover was unbalanced because you could be fighting 10 people with AK 47 and you die in about 8 shots so unless you stay hiden at all times your going to get shot alot or even worse killed *gasp!* and the hospital bills are a good fraction of you money so when you die your paying lets say you have 250,000 you would pay 10,000 dollars everytime you die so if you die many times in one mission your losing a good sum of money. Aside from that the drivings easy and the missions are quite entertaining and there are 90 missions and two endings so you'll probably pick it back up for a few more months or more so all this aside this game is very fun and the gameplay is a little unblanced but it get a 4.75 out of me.

I dont even have to explain. You all know this game rules!!!!! Everything is better new and improved. I cant say anything but a miracle game.

So much fun on this game...From doing mission or just goofing around...Everything on this game is fun..The auto aim and the blocking system is a very good addition to this game..Unlike the ps3 version, this game is running smoothly on the 360..I'm not giving it a perfect score due to the graphics..The graphics are just ok...But overall the is fun..I recommend this game to every gamer around.

Well this game is off the hook. The only thing in the whole game i don't like is its hard to see when you are driving and turning a car. They should have took a little more time to work on this. Besides this the gameplay is great. The side jobs are great. All round the game is great if you don't have it you need to get it.

why to me this game doesn't get perfect score?......well, how about the size of the maps?, maybe "HALF" the size of SAN ANDREAS. where is the TANK?, or the jet fighter?, how about my sword or chainsaw? why are the graphics SO SO?, the driving isn't any better, takes forever to stop and the turning is horrible, i always get hit by cars everytime i run away from the cops. and the cops are so annoying, i hate the radar crap. and the online isn't so fun. i also found many bugs on this game, what i can't stand is having to enter cheats by phone, it's alot slower, and as soon as u get shot,u put the phone down.........????????.........that's just stupid. overall this game is good, it has some new things, funny things, but nothing better than SAN ANDREAS

the gameplay is polished down to the very last control, and it plays like a good scorcese film. the characters and plot are believable and memorable. this game is what modern gaming is all about.

First thing, that everyone mention mostly is Gameplay, but i like to Compare the game with Predecessors, then review the game. Gameplay GTA III, in 2001 was a great game. lots of games tried to imitate GTA III. any way GTA III wasn't first game with this style, but at least it was first completely sandbox game on Third person view, Exploring a city based on real life, Doing Dirty works for Criminals, Jacking cars, Entering Train,ans all. one year after GTA III, R* has released a new game, more like a expansion pack for the past year's game but it was sweet to see a sunny city after dark environment of GTA III, also based on a city witch Reminds you a great movie of history, Scarface. Riding Helicopters and Motor Cycle, Changing your Suit, Map on pause menu, New Guns, Cell Phone, also Asset Properties were added to GTA: vice city. 2 years after VC,we saw a new GTA, not a expansion pack as GTA VC was, a map with 3 Cities and 12 towns, County Side and Desert, Riding Air Planes, about a hundred Items, Character Improvement and Stats on Gun, Stamina, Sex Appeal, Respect and Driving. Customizable character, was most sweet stuff on it. GTA LCS, hadn't things we expected from a Grand theft Auto, but GTA VCS had lots of new things. we saw Vice City again with Gang Business. that was all change. well, In Grand Theft auto IV, Feathers like Air planes, Barber and Assets/Businesses were removed, but we have: Taxi Ride, Internet, A perfect mobile Phone, Better car handling, Multiplayer and a better Reality based city is added to game. Graphics Everyone who played past games knows that GTA series had bad graphic comparing with time games. Ugly Character Design, Solid objects, a little unperfect building Textures, Bad lighting were things that made graphics look Nasty. but gameplay was sweet enough and there was no need to pay attention to this. anyway, in GTA IV, we have a perfect graphic comparing with 7th generation games like Gears of War, Halo 3, Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, heavenly Sword, Metal Gear solid 4 etc. Lighting is so perfect.Anti Aliasing affects good. also Draw distance is high, with Dept of Filed Technique. Characters designed good enough to compare with real life. Building textures are improved(but still not good looking). Vehicles take damage so Actual. but shadows look a little bit creepy. but theres no word on water, it's most perfect detailed in game. Sounds In past GTA series, even in a crowded street, we couldn't feel it's a city in fact. but GTA IV brings us a good detailed sound. like real life. things like hearing a remote crash, car engine, conversations of peds with more details and... that makes you feel reality in game. Radio station aren't changed so muchm but there are more of them with more songs. Voice actors are Great. Mike Hollic, voice actor of Nicko done his job good for an Eastern Europe accent. also Little Jacob the Rasta has an odd accent that makes us laugh. But i my self chose Packie, with most Compatible voice actor. unfortunately, or Luckily, we haven't famous hollywood faces in game, just Like Ray liotta as Tommy in GTA VC and Samuel Jackson as Tenpenny in GTA SA. Story We have more factors, but i finish my Review on this part. in one word, Story is Great comparing with Past GTAs, even comparing with new generation games in some points. i'm not saying, all we did in 3d GTAs was taking orders and killing people, but in this Game it's a new thing to see a Serbian Red Army man, with broken heart in war with Bosnia, came here to just scape from things that he's done in his old country, searching for someone Special. also Very good dialogs and Conversations has been written for game. Results as i said in the Title, may GTA IV isn't a good GTA, but it's a Great game with Factors that will be followed by lots of Developers, in every genre in Evey time. it was as good as we Expected for one year. Alright we no we could not wait until GTA IV came out. This game is a MUST HAVE. The graphics are very realistic.You will be playing as Niko Belic, a guy from Europe that got out of the boat and moved to America to escape from his past. He won't be alone though, he will be accompanied by his cousin Roman and meets new people throughout the game.Also the shooting is very different and it's very easy for cops to come. Overall this game rocks. I give this game a 5 out of 5.

The best the thing about it is its on the 360. So I didnt have to buy the ps3 to play it. I saved up for three weeks to buy this game. I Gotit on the first day it came out . I thought it would be sold out but thay hade pleanty of copies. Thats why I shop at cercit city,insted of gamestop.Any way it rocks I highly recomend this game.
